Bringing The Retreat To You

Leon's been stressed lately. Hell, more than stressed, it seems like the world can go longer than a few weeks without needing him to step in and save the day. I'm so proud of my boyfriend, but sometimes even when I tell him, Leon doesn't seem to understand just how amazing I think he is.

So that's why I intend on showing him how grateful I am, by bringing a much needed retreat to him. He's only got a few more days off until he's off to another country to do whatever agent stuff the government has him doing, so today's the chosen day for me to help him chill before the stress kicks back in.

"Leon," I sing song, heading to the living room to find him glaring at the TV screen, some game show plays as he turns towards me and arches a brow, somehow knowing already I'm scheming. "I've got a surprise for you. But first, tell me why you're giving the poor host a death glare?"

Leon huffs, leaning back into the sofa cushions as he points a finger at the dudes face. "He didn't ask the question properly. It would've been an easy ten points if the dumbass had just phrased the question simply."

I bite back a grin, then outstretch my hand to him, waving it as he narrows his lips and stares. "Come on, I promise it'll be worth it."

He sighs, shaking his head, but takes my hand and allows me to pull him to the bathroom, where a steaming bubble bath is drawn for him, filled with oils that help muscle tension, and some that help with anxiety. There's a few tea lights lit around and my phone plays some relaxing spa music, when I turn to gouge Leon's reaction, his eyes are wide and his lips part.

"Fuck, I didn't think our anniversary was for another couple of months." He curses, looking guiltily at me. Straight away I shake my head, letting out a small laugh at his panicked expression.

"No it's not. This is all for you, since, you know, I love you and want to take care of you. You do so much for me and everyone else, I just want to do something nice for you." I softly say, heart absolutely melting as his brows finally relax, and he gives me the cutest smile.

"You didn't have to baby, but thank you."

"I'm nowhere near done yet. Now strip, so I can start." I order, turning around to start grabbing all the stuff I bought from the store a few days ago, when I first started planning all this. By the time all the things are set out on the counter, Leon's in the bath, clothes in a pile on the floor as he groans into the bubbles,  which covers most of him, but I thankfully get to observe that muscular, broad chest of is.

Doing it for him, I remind myself.

I kneel down next to the bath as Leon opens his eyes again, tilting his head at my lack of presence in the bath. Already a bead of sweat is forming on his forehead, and his blonde hair begins sticking to the sides of his face. I carefully reach out and brush his hand away, then grab the first thing. It's a face cleanser, whilst I'm no beauty expert I've got a rough idea what I'm doing.

"This is going to clean your face, setting up for the rest of the stuff." I explain as I pour some of it onto my hands, then rub then together before beginning to massage it into Leon's face. At first he pulls back, staring at the liquid as if it's some foreign substance, but when I nod encouragingly he moves back in place. Once on, his skin is shining, but not for long. I grab an electronic face cleanser, which helps to exfoliate or something.

I switch it on, and immediately it buzzes to life. Leon gives me an odd look, arching a brow. "Are you sure that's not what I think it is?"

It takes me a second to figure out his meaning, but when I do I can't fight the small blush covering my cheeks. I switch it off, deciding to use it another day now I can't look at it without thinking...other things. "Whatever. Okay, so I've gotta rinse this before putting on the face mask."

I grab a cloth, and wet it before gently wiping Leon's face, smiling faintly at the way his eyes close and his shoulders relax. Once done, I then grab the pot of clay face mask I bought. As soon as it's open Leon plucks it from my fingers and sniffs it, pulling a face. "This stuff goes on my face?"

I nod. "Yeah, then we leave it for a few minutes-"

"If I've got to suffer with it, then so do you." He pointedly says, grimacing as he sticks a finger in and reaches over to swipe some onto my face. I giggle at his hesitancy, then we both take it in turns putting some face mask on each other until we look like intergalactic aliens. I grab my phone, taking a selfie of us before setting it aside. I sit by the bath, my hand in Leon's as we sit in a comfortable silence, just generally being calm and stress free.

Once five minutes is up, Leon grabs the cloth and carefully rinses my face first, then he cleans the cloth and passes it to me, knowing I want to do this for him. I do the same, wiping it all off before leaning over the bath and pressing a kiss to his forehead. "You're so handsome." I whisper, not bothering as he wraps a wet arm around my back and keeps me close, his nose brushing against mine until he kisses me, then I pull away.

"Once you're out I can dry you off and then moisturise your face." I say. Leon nods, staying put for a few minutes more until he lifts himself out. I don't bother ogling him, I've seen it all before and as much as I love every inch of him, today is about appreciating him. I grab the softest towel and dry him off, then help him step into some underwear. He leans against the counter as I grab the moisturiser and swipe it on Leon's face, all over the small past acne scars and ridges.

He smiles sleepily at me, then I lead him to the bedroom and point for him to lie down. He follows my instructions, then I climb onto the bed and grab his hand, then begin massaging it like I saw online. He groans, head falling back as he completely flops. "Shit, that feels nice." He deeply murmurs.

I hum in appreciation, then move to the other hand, ignoring the jealousy that he has a better manicure than I do. When done, Leon's practically passed out, breathing even as his lips part, then a small snore escapes him.

I bite back a laugh, then tuck a blanket over him. I go to walk away, but then he reaches out and grabs my hand, opening one sleepy blue eye. "Snuggle with me." I nod, then make my way under his arm as he pulls me to divine smelling chest, then I fall into the warmth and tranquility, glad that Leon's feeling lighter than before.
