I lean forwards to look closer in the bathroom mirror, eyes narrowing at a new pimple on my forehead. Leon stands behind me, leaning against the wall as he watches me with a childlike curiosity. His head tilts as I use a battery powered facial cleanser to exfoliate and clean my skin, the faint humming echoes around the bathroom as Leon arches a brow.

"Why are you doing that with the prickly stuff?" Leon asks, stepping forwards to rest his chin on my shoulder. My lips lift as I glance at him from the corner of my eye, he's still staring at the pink cleanser that's buzzing against my cheek.

"It's to get rid of the dead skin cells, and it helps to open up the skin pores so that the moisturiser gets through." I explain, pulling a face as I lift my head to now direct the cleanser to my chin. Leon's brow arches higher now, then he shakes his head, quickly kissing my neck before pulling back. "You should let me do your skincare one day, I bet you'll love it." I mumble, letting out a small yawn since it's rapidly approaching my bedtime. Leon hums as if in agreement, then he walks out and into the bedroom, leaving me to finish my routine.

A new nights later I'm sat on the bed, nearing the end of a chapter of the book I'm reading as Leon's sitting next to me, his back leaning against the headboard. We're in a comfortable silence, until a shy tap on my shoulder captures my attention. I finish the last line of the page then set my book aside, looking to Leon. He seems unsure of himself, which is so adorable, then he clears his throat and quietly speaks. "I don't suppose you wanna put that stuff on my skin, or whatever?"

I smile as I nod, loving how sweet yet shy he is about this. I lean over, pecking his cheek, then reply. "I'd love to, stay here while I get the things, then I'll pamper you." I excitedly say. I hop off of the bed, gathering everything I use on a daily basis, as well as a few other things I think Leon would appreciate, then go back to the bed. I sit down cross legged, then pat my thighs for Leon to lie down and rest his head on them. He does, groaning at the feeling of finally relaxing for the first time all day. "I know this is weird-" Leon mumbles, but I press a finger over his lips.

"It's not weird or embarrassing, there's nothing wrong with looking after yourself, or letting somebody else take care of you. Now close your eyes and trust me, okay?" I ask. Leon nods, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, before letting it out slowly. He's finally giving himself time to unwind, something he doesn't allow often even when he's at home with me, he's always on the go, helping me with chores or finding something to do. I start by grabbing a fresh mini brush, then I comb his eyebrows, noticing how some hairs are a little long. It's fine for anyone to let their brows go natural, but I know Leon does care about taming them. I'm gentle, smoothing the hair down, then I grab some small scissors and trim the longer overgrown hairs until his brows are even and perfect. I stare, hating how they look better than my own.

"I'm so jealous of your eyebrows," I softly murmur, "they're so pretty and naturally perfect, apart from an odd few."

Leon's mouth lifts as he keeps his eyes closed. "Thanks...I think." He chuckles. I huff in fake jealousy, then lean down to kiss his forehead. Next I grab a sheet mask, peeling it out of the plastic pack then bringing it to Leon's nose. He sniffs it, jutting out a lip in appreciation. I then gently place the mask over his face, using my thumbs to smooth over the wrinkles. Leon cracks a single eye open, arching a manicured brow up at me as he reaches up and pokes a finger at the mask. "Is this really necessary?" He drawls, acting as if this is some kind of joke I'm playing on him.

I nod, "Yeah, it's good for you, now shush." I reply. Leon holds his hand up, then lets it fall back onto his stomach again as I continue to take care of his skin. I grab some calming oils, then rub them between my hands before gently taking one of his wrists at a time, ensuring I rub the calming oil onto his pulse point. Leon groans at the feeling, and I'm sure if he was a cat he'd be purring right now. He lets out a small yawn, ripping the sheet mask in the process, but it's time to take it off anyway. I peel it off of his skin, which is now shining and looks glowing, then I grab my moisturiser. "This will make your skin really soft." I say as Leon nods. I dab some onto my finger, then with a tenderness I apply it all over his face, taking extra care over the acne scars he has and the dry skin where he shaves.

"It smells funny." Leon deeply says, looking like he's almost asleep. I let out a small laugh, then use my thumbs to smooth the last of the cream over his cheeks, watching as his breath evens out. I then grab a comb, running it through his soft strands as he nuzzles his head into me unconsciously, truly acting like a cat now. I stifle a laugh, feeling warm and fuzzy that he trusts me to look after him. He wakes up only a few minutes later when I'm done brushing his hair, his blue eyes heavy as he blinks up at me. "Shit, think I fell asleep." He drawls sleepily.

"It's okay, we're on the last step now anyway. I've only got one lip balm, do you mind sharing mine?" I ask. Leon shakes his head, letting out a huff of a laugh.

"Baby, I share it with you everyday." He mumbles, pinching his lips together as if he's kissing the air. I giggle, then grab the lip balm and swipe it over his lips. It makes them look shiny and a little puffy, but still handsome. I can't resist the call, so I bend down and peck his mouth in a lingering but soft kiss as Leon lifts a hand and caresses the back of my head, when I pull away I lick my lips, humming in delight.

"You're right, the kisses do taste like cherries." I muse. Leon nods, then sits up, looking refreshed yet relaxed. I smile at the sight of him pampered and at ease. Leon touches his face, brows raising in approval.

"Damn, thanks that feels nice." He mumbles, then yawns loudly. I snort, then gently push him down onto the bed, tucking the covers over him as he watches me through sleepy eyes. "What're you doing now?"

"Putting you to bed. Let's call it an early night my sleepy man." I smile, then Leon opens his arms for me. I snuggle into them, feeling warm and safe, and truly loved.
