I walk hand in hand with Leon through the park, enjoying the sunshine and the numerous people who've come outside to bask in the great weather. Leon and I weave through families having picnics and small children blowing bubbles until we find a good spot on the grass to sit. I lean back against a tree as Leon sets down his jacket- I told him it was too hot for it but the man never listens- then he kneels down, until his eyes find an ice cream stand. I smile, already replying to the question on the tip of his tongue.

"Yeah alright, but I only want a small once since we're having dinner soon, please."

Leon kisses my head delicately, then stands and heads over to the bustling stand. I sigh, feeling content and happy, but even though I'm the happiest I've ever been with Leon I still feel like there's something missing in our home and hearts. I let my eyes glide to the families all laughing and cuddling with their adorable kids, mother's wipe the messy mouths from the food whilst dad's play catch with their son's and daughter's. It's a life I want, but Leon's never seemed to show that he wants the same things. Whenever I've brought it up he's always changed the subject, or just shrugged it of giving me a simple "maybe one day". I sigh, closing my eyes until a thump beside me startles me. I look to see a frisbee beside me, with colourful butterflies on it. A small girl comes walking over shyly, her thumb in her mouth as she points to the lost toy.

"Oh, is this yours?" I smile, picking it up and holding it out for her. She nods, eyes wide as she takes it wordlessly. "It's very nice, I bet you're really great at throwing it." Her lips curve as she nods then takes her thumb out to talk to me.

"I can throw it really far sometimes, but if I throw it too far it gets lost and daddy has to go find it for me."

I nod, smiling as she clutches the toy to her chest. "Ah, that's awesome! Just be careful when it gets lost though, you don't want the fairies to find it." I tease, earning a small giggle from her. She mumbles a thanks before running off to join her family again, and from across the park who I presume to be her mother nods and smiles at me. I lift a hand, then Leon comes over carrying our ice creams.

"Drawing in all the kids again are you?" Leon jokes, it's no secret that our neighbours kids love me, probably due to the fact that I always give them extra Halloween candy or Easter eggs, plus I always listen to them when they stop me in the street. I guess that maternal instinct has always been there. I shrug at Leon, licking the ice cream as he bites into his. We sit in silence for a while until I feel that familiar yearning tug at my heart. If Leon and I had kids we'd always bring them to the park, we'd have family picnics and Leon would probably teach our kids all kinds of crazy and random talents. Before I know it Leon's reaching over, brushing his knuckles down my cheek as he senses my mood shift. "What's on your mind?"

"I don't know..." I lead off in a mumble, but he gives me a pointed look, so I take a breath and confess. "I really want to start a family Leon, I've wanted to for a while but seeing all those families and little babies, God, I really want one of my own."

Leon's eyes widen then his mouth lifts into a wide smile. "I know you do, and I think you're right, now's a good time to have a little one, whilst things are settled for us. I know I've always played it off before, but that's because I wasn't ready and didn't want to admit it, but now....yeah, let's do it." Leon stands up, stuffing the last part of his ice cream cone into his mouth. "Let's do it right now." I laugh as he holds out a hand for me, but that doesn't stop me from taking it and letting him pull me up.

"Alright you eager beaver, let's go get me pregnant." I laugh.

Turns out, Leon was dead serious about putting a baby in me though. As soon as we got home he immediately got onto his knees, insisting that we needed to make this a moment to remember. With quick hands he pulled off my shoes and tugged down my underwear before feasting on me like I'd never known before. I was pressed against the wall, holding onto Leon's shoulders as my leg looped around his neck, giving him more access to taste me. After a torturous session he finally picked me up and took me to the bedroom, where we undressed and he took control, pinning my hands above my head but kissing me slowly as he thrust into me at a snails pace. I clenched around as he groaned and cupped my breasts, kissing them and telling me that he couldn't wait for them to get bigger. Near the end, when we were both close to reaching our peaks, Leon grabbed a pillow and thrusted it under my hips before I came with a cry. Leon followed soon after, spilling into me with a hoarse shout of my name. He was soft with me after, worshipping me like I was a divine creature, he fingered his milky seed back into me every time it threated to spill out, even despite my laughs that it only takes one little swimmer to work.

Almost A Year Later...

"Leon, you know she won't break if you just set her down on the blankets on the floor, right?" I laugh as I sit on the sofa, nursing a cup of tea as Leon frowned at me. He holds our precious baby daughter in his arms as he gently rocks her, even though she's wide awake and pinching his jaw.

"Yeah, but she might miss me from all the way down there."

"She needs tummy time." I playfully argue. Ever since D/N was born Leon's treated her like glass, at first he was scared to hold her, worried he'd crush her or let her slip. The first time I managed to coax him into it he cried, grinning at the sleeping bundle as I shed tears with him. Leon sighs, knowing I'm right, then he kneels on the floor as he ever so carefully sets our baby on the softest blankets his money could buy, hands caging either side of her as she rolls about and coos. I shake my head ruefully, thinking he'll never grow out of this overprotective stage, but at the same time I'm so glad that D/N has a daddy who loves her this much. Eventually Leon comes to sit by my side as we carefully keep an eye on our wriggly daughter, she's a literal bundle of energy even from the newborn stage to now. Some time later she cries since it's her feeding time, so Leon goes to prepare the bottle as I scoop her up and murmur to her.

"Here, one deluxe bottle of milk, on the house." Leon jokes, passing the bottle to me and winking. I snort, checking the temperature of the milk on the back of my hand before gently pressing it to our baby's lips. Straight away she begins sucking on it, little hands clutching the bottle as Leon sits next to me and wraps an arm around my shoulders. "She's so perfect." He whispers emotionally.

I nod, unable to tear my eyes away from our little one. "I think we did a pretty good job." I agree. Once she's fed I carefully pass her to Leon, who winces and shakes his head.

"I can't you burp her, she never does anything with me, she's a mommy's girl with that part."

I shake my head, letting out a yawn. "It's the only part I don't like doing, so the honour is yours handsome." It's not been easy having a baby, but neither has it been as hard as I initially imagined, however by far the worst part is the burping. Our little missus refuses to let out the gas, not even for her daddy. Leon groans, then sits her up as his hand rubs her back and gently pats. It goes on for a while as he coos to her and ends up pleading for her to burp as he chuckles, then when she finally does, we both cheer, kissing her head and then each other. It's the little wins that we love.

"Right on schedule for some shut eye, as long as she's clean?" I ask, once again taking her from Leon. He yawns, nodding as we walk to her nursery together. As soon as Leon and I found out I was pregnant it was the first thing we decided to start on, so we spent weeks decorating the nursery. I set D/N down in her cot then coax her to sleep, then Leon says his goodnights too, then we head to bed, drained but happy.

"I'm so glad we did this, I can't wait to do it again." Leon murmurs.

I let out a small laugh, whacking his shoulder playfully as I put on my pyjamas.  "Again huh? You try pushing one out, it's hard."

"Yeah," He drawls, "but you did an amazing job, and I bet you could do it again for me. Please?" His eyes widen as he actually pouts. Great, so now Leon's the one with baby fever, but who am I to deny the greatest achievements in my life; being a mother and a wife.
