the talk -part one

I walk into the house and Nate wrapped his arms around me.
"What was wrong?" He asked.
I sighed. While in the car I decided to tell him I was pregnant first and then I would talk to him and Jack about everything .
"I'm pregnant," I said.
"Babe seriously, what's wrong?"
I walked to the couch and took a seat. Digging in my bag , I finally found the ultrasounds.
"I'm pregnant."
I started to cry as he looked at the ultrasounds. His facial expression changed and I couldn't really tell what he was feeling.
"You're pregnant."
He sat on the couch and continue to study the pictures.
"How long?"he asked shakily.
"A couple of months ."
He closed his eyes.
"So it might not be mine?"he asked, tears brimming his eyes.
I nodded my head. Of course he would put two and two together. Nate wasn't stupid .
"Is Jack the only other person?" He asked through gritted teeth.
"Yes, there is no other person."
I placed a hand on his shoulder but he shook it off and stood up.
"You have to tell him," he said.
"I know , I just wanted to tell you first. I care about you, Nate."
"If you cared about me there wouldn't be a maybe about this being my baby."
I gulped ad nodded my head.
"You're right.
"Call Jack and get him over here now."
"Okay, just please don't do anything stupid," I said.
"You've done enough stupid for the both of us."
He stomped upstairs and I jumped when I heard a loud bang coming from there. Something was definitely broke.
I dialed Jack's number and waited for him to answer.
"What do you want?"
"Jack, can you please come over? There is something we need to talk about and I can't do it over the phone."
"What is it?"
"Just please Jack, not over the phone ."
"I'll be over in five."
