Chapter-25

Author's POV

The panoramic vista stretched as far as the eye can see. The hills were adorned with lush greenery, a mixture of tall grasses, wildflowers and a scattering of trees.

The soft velvety grass swayed gently to the breeze. As her bare feet touched the ground, she felt like walking on a natural carpet as blades of grass tickled her feet.

Rolling hills extended in all directions, creating a sense of tranquillity and serenity. The landscape was dotted with patches of forests, meandering rivers, and sparkling lakes.

Vibrant wildflowers bloomed, painting the hillside with a riot of colours. The wild grass took a luscious green hue, contrasting against the dark blue sky.

Beautiful is the short word to describe the scenery. It was mind-blowing.

" Paaru..." he called, his voice gentle just like the breeze caressing her skin.

She turned behind and looked at him, a beautiful smile spread across her lips.

He tilted his phone upwards and clicked pictures of hers as she smiled like an angel.

Her smile warmed his heart.

In three long strides, he stood in front of her and circled his hands around her arms, clicking three more selfies.

After ending the call with Sameer, she took in the features of her surroundings.

Her eyes widened in awe looking at the serenity of nature. The sky looked so close and if they were here at night, it'd be a sight to watch the twinkling stars.

She absolutely loved the place.

" This is really beautiful Shiva" she exclaimed, her eyes twinkling in happiness.

He was at a loss for words.

He thought she was lying.

How can she say this place is beautiful when her presence is adding beauty to this place? He chuckled looking at her beautiful face.

He walked towards the car and took out a notepad from the dashboard.

Parul enjoyed the view while he sat on the single rock, scribbling something in the notepad.

After some minutes, he walked towards her to hold her in his embrace.

" This is my secret haven" he whispered, behind her ears. His hands gently rested on her lower abdomen, his chin rested on the crook of her neck.

It's nothing new. He has touched her many times within the short duration but this, this touch was different from all other touches.

It was pure and there wasn't any kind of lustful intentions behind it.

She hummed in response.

" you are my heaven..." he chuckled, making her chuckle too.

He was always good with words.

" I liked it. It's really beautiful" she said, placing her hands on his hands which were resting on her abdomen.

" not more than you...." he said, his hot breath causing goosebumps all over her body. She tilted her neck slightly to look into his eyes.

There was only love in those chocolate-brown eyes. For a second, she felt the urge to admire his beautiful eyes.

She had to admit that his eyes were beautiful, only when he wasn't angry. She smiled at her thoughts.
