Chapter-84

Listen to the song, Mehabooba from KGF-2. It'll make more sense.

Author's POV

Shiva was verbally bashing his men, especially Bheema. They were tracking Brunda, Shiva's archenemy.

He was unavailable as if he had disappeared from the face of the earth for three years. But from last week his phone has turned on and Mansoor reported him seeing in Vrindapur but couldn't confirm it.

Before Mansoor could take pics, Brunda Khatri, disappeared from his sight as if he never really appeared.

Mansoor was working his ass off to track him back. He was a threat to the Arasu family. And Shiva doesn't like to take threats.

He only loves to threaten or be a threat himself.

He wanted to eliminate him but he didn't consider him as a threat, yet.

As of now, Brunda hasn't caused any harm to his family. That's what he believed. There were truths that Shiva wasn't aware of. Despite being a notorious gangster, he was oblivious to certain things. One among them was Brunda Khatri.

Shiva was bashing them because they lost his track. He doesn't like when they fail in the tasks. They were not trained to fail.

Their heads hung in defeat, none of them raised their eyes and dared to look into Shiva's blazing browns.

He was very angry. After scolding them in all the languages, he heaved out a sigh and settled in the car.

The ride back home was silent. He pulled out his phone to call, someone, who would provide him with comfort but his phone was switched off.

Throwing his phone on the seat, he muttered curses and looked outside the window.

Meanwhile, back at home, Parul was sitting on the staircase, waiting for him. Tears glistened in her eyes. Worry clouded her features.

She hugged her knees and looked at the huge iron gate with teary eyes.

For some reason, she was worried. About his safety.

Yesterday night, she didn't talk to him. By the time she woke up, he had left to work. She was hoping to talk to him, but he wasn't home.

I won't be home soon, take care, don't skip meals. I love you Paaru.
~ Ratha.

He had left a sticky note on the bedside.

Tears pricked her eyes, seeing the yellow note.

She had been feeling low since yesterday and her emotions were everywhere.

She wanted to sit and cry. And for some reason, she knew, only Shiva could comfort her.

She called her grandparents and talked to them for a while but didn't feel good enough.

It was late afternoon already and there were no signs of him. He hadn't called her or texted her. So she called him. And his phone was turned off.

That's when her concern grew and turned into worry.

She called him again and again hoping that he would pick up the calls or at least his phone would be on. But the result was still the same.

She had been calling him frantically. Her heart was pounding and she couldn't stop the negative scenarios running through her mind.

She was already feeling low and those negative thoughts were killing her mind.

Tapping her foot nervously, she bit her lips, looking at the gate and then at her phone which was on the ground next to her.
