Chapter-91

Author's POV

Parul placed the food on the table, served it to two plates and called her husband.

But Shiva didn't respond.

She had prepared Paratha and butter chicken. It was her favourite and she thought he'd like it too.

" Shiva...come fast!!" She looked upstairs with knitted brows.

When she didn't receive any response, she decided to go upstairs and drag him back.

Shiva was a workaholic. Being with him, she realised that he was quite busy and still made time for her.

Before their marriage, she thought he was jobless and considered him a lazy brat. She thought he would sit simply, do nothing and spend his family's fortune.

Shiva worked hard and still managed to spare his time for her. Because she was his priority.

But now she realised how busy he was. Shiva never made her feel like a choice.

Tonight he had some work and was busy reading an important file.

He heard her calling his name but didn't respond. He was in a daze. He couldn't believe what he read just now.

" Shiva..." Parul stood in front of the door and looked at him with knitted brows.

Shiva heaved out a deep sigh and looked at her.

For the first time in these many days, he didn't smile looking at her. Parul thought it was odd but then shrugged it off thinking he was busy or pissed off.

" Food is waiting..." She said.

Shiva didn't respond.

" Will you come on your own or should I drag you?" Parul thought he was teasing her purposefully and decided to tease him back.

Shiva was taken aback by her boldness. But then, since their marriage, she has been like this.

" You wouldn't dare..." Shiva arched his brows, and his hold on the sheet tightened to the point that the sheets crumbled under his hold.

His deep chilly voice intimidated her. Parul would've spat a comment at him but her eyes fell on his tightened fists. It was more than enough for her to know that he was angry and she didn't want to pull his legs anymore.

Sighing, she looked at him with a long face. " Bloody Rowdy..." She mumbled under her breath, loud enough for him to hear and then walked down muttering curses.

Shiva sighed in frustration. His eyes fell on the crumbled page. Three photos were pasted on it. Although it was of two different women, there was something similar between them.

A pair of honey-brown eyes.

" Fuck!" He gritted his teeth, banging the table furiously.

Letting out an animalistic growl, he kicked the chair as he walked out of the study.

Downstairs, Parul refused to sit and think about his tantrums. She was munching on the food thinking that he'd come and eat if he felt hungry.

As she reached the mug to pour the water, she saw him walking down the stairs.

A naughty idea crossed her mind as she saw him walking towards her with a poker face.

Dipping the paratha in gravy, she munched on the food making moaning sounds.

" Hmmm...yummy..." She moaned loudly licking her fingers. Her eyes slowly lingered between his eyes and his lips as she licked her own lips.
