Chapter-61

Author's POV

His heart ached in a weird pain. He could feel it. Her pain.

He felt like destroying the whole world when he called her a bitch. Although she wasn't responding to Amas, he could hear her faint cries.

He even knew that she would be hanging her head in defeat, biting her lips to stop the cries. He knew her like he knew the back of his hand.

That's what she was doing.

She never thought her decision would land her in such a brutal situation.

She regretted it. With all her heart.

Getting married to Shiva seemed less difficult now.

Shiva couldn't control his anger anymore. He kicked the door and it busted open because of the brutal force.

His eyes were aching to see her.
He wanted her alive and fine. That's it.

But when he saw her bruised cheek, cut lip and torn dress, he lost it.

His body started shaking in fury.

Kunal, Ahil and Amas were terrified seeing Ratha himself in all mad glory.

Before they could breathe out, Shiva's men held them down.

His gaze didn't move at all. He watched her from the door. Parul's lips quivered. She was happy, relieved and even sad that Shiva wasn't saying anything.

She thought that he might be ashamed of her current situation.

Little did she know!

Shiva was assessing the wounds and bruises on her body. He would make them pay with their blood and life for hurting his Fianna. His Paaru.

His fists clenched to the point that they looked snow-white. His nose flared in anger. The fingerprints on her left cheek were too bright. He didn't miss her empty neck. The chain was missing and he thought those rapists must've taken it.

He swore to never raise his hands on her again. And this man, whom she didn't do any wrong, dared to slap her.

God couldn't save him now.

Shiva looked at her with so much longing and love. No one, not even his men could believe it. He was a Notorious Gangster. He is well-known for his brutality and ruthlessness.

It's been more than years since they saw something akin to even warmth in Shiva's eyes.

Shiva never looked lovingly at anyone. All they ever saw in his eyes were anger, fury, ruthlessness and ultimate madness.

Parul felt like he was staring straight into her soul. His gaze was burning her.

She couldn't look into his furious eyes. She was about to look down,
" Paaru..." it was a whisper. His voice held so much power over her.

She looked at him, tears streaming down her face. Shiva rushed towards her and kneeled before her.

Oh god...this must've hurt her a lot... He didn't speak it out loud.

His hands worked swiftly to untie her from the bounds.

Just when he finished untying her ankles, she threw herself onto him.

Shiva engulfed her in his warmth. Parul buried her face in his chest and sobbed, holding him tightly. Very tightly.

He didn't whisper her comforting words. Nor did he try to console her. Except for running his hands through his messed-up hair, he didn't do anything.
