Chapter-120
Seven months later (June 2024)
Parul's POV
We were heading to the hospital for the final check-up. Mansoor was driving the car, slowly. Ever since I had the panic attack right after those rapists incident, Shiva has strictly prohibited speed driving whenever I am with him.
The past seven months have been nothing short of bliss.
Shiva has taken care of me like I was his baby. Our baby will be so proud of his daddy. Shiva had tears in his eyes when he felt our baby's kicks. When we saw our baby via ultrasound, Shiva and I cried tears of happiness. He thanked me uncountable times for giving him the greatest gift of his life. Our baby.
He was so happy that he kept kissing me all night, thanking me for giving him everything.
Marrying Shiva was the second-best decision and Loving him still tops the list.
He never left my side. He was always there. When I was throwing my guts out, when I couldn't sleep, he was there. When I was crying because my body was sore and my breasts were swollen, he was there, massaging them gently, Holding me in his arms, whispering sweet nothings, doing everything to make me feel better.
During the third month, I was throwing up every day. Shiva was annoyed at the pregnancy symptoms. He cursed at himself.
I didn't know it would be so bad. I would have used condoms or whatever. Seeing you like this is worse than not having sex with you. I'm sorry Paaru, I didn't know it was this difficult.
Shiva felt guilty for my pregnancy symptoms.
After spending nine precious months with him as his wife, I've come to realise that Shiva is not bad at all. Aryan was right. Shiva is the most loving person. If he loves you, he loves you like anything. There's no in-between. It's either deep or nothing at all.
I could have never found such a man.
Shiva is one of a kind.
I talk to my grandparents daily via video call. And they come here twice a month. Now that they've agreed to shift here permanently, my happiness knows no bounds.
Lucky are those girls who marry a man who treats her family right. I am one of those lucky ones. He loves my grandparents like his own. Thatha and Dada have become very close, they discuss politics while having tea.
Imagine how much he loves me if he successfully convinced my grandparents to shift to Jivapur.
Yes. He did.
My man is a charmer.
I couldn't believe it. I thought Shiva was kidding until Shiva took me to one of his many penthouses. I thought we were shifting here or it was some type of gift cause it was Shiva we were talking about but then Shiva told me that my thatha had agreed to move into this house after our baby's arrival.
I was so happy, I squealed.
And that night we ended up fucking like rabbits.
We haven't been sexually active for the past two months. Shiva is scared that he will hurt our baby.
My womb is kinda big and he said that...I'm afraid, I'll burst it.
He is funny.
Shiva has become the centre of my world. I cannot do anything without his support and I cannot do anything without thinking of him.
I think I like it that way.
I love to be in his protective cocoon.
Shiva has changed a lot. He doesn't lose his temper. He is taking meditation classes! Yeah, don't laugh.
