Chapter-96
Aryan's POV
And I promised her. It was one of too many promises to her.
And one among them has bound me with invisible shackles. Her love for me is stopping me from breaking the promise.
After that, it was all calm.
Shiva was busy with his newfound interest, Jennifer. His, now, ex-girlfriend.
So we had all the time in the world to spend together.
Manvi was something beyond describable. She is the most kind, beautiful and bold woman I've ever come across.
Parul comes next.
Everything was going well until May of 2019.
I was busy and that's when she called, worried on the edge of crying.
" I will talk to Shiva" I had told her but Manvi was adamant about getting married right then and there.
" No...he won't agree...Arya, if you don't marry me, I'll kill myself..." She sounded very serious and I knew in my heart that she wasn't just threatening me.
" Arya...we can convince him later... please come soon...I don't want to marry anyone else" she cried. I could still feel her voice breaking.
And I couldn't say no to her.
We eloped.
Shiva had asked her to get ready to meet the Ahuja family. They were to come in the evening but Manvi ran away from Arasu Mansion.
We met in our secret spot and I tied the knot, there. The sky and the other elements were the witness to our wedding.
Manvi was so happy. I was so happy. She was finally Mrs. Manvi Rao.
Although we didn't have the luxury to meet in public places and talk freely, we managed to keep our relationship healthy and alive.
She was born rich. A royal heiress. And the way we married, the circumstances of our marriage were just unbelievable.
Any girl of her upbringing wouldn't have married like this. But Manvi wasn't like any other girl. She was one of a kind. And nobody could be so selfless like her.
It's not like I was poor and had no money, it was the opposite. I was wealthy and our family had a good name too. But the situation was tough.
It didn't take much time for Shiva to know that we eloped and married.
He was furious, to say the least. It felt like I was stepping into a battlefield.
Manvi thought she could convince him. But I knew, I knew him like the back of my hand.
To him, it was a betrayal. For me, it was a life-and-death situation.
I was stuck.
It's still a miracle that he didn't hit me that day. I was prepared to get hit black and blue but her words stopped him.
After he left, I was removed from the gang. And I wasn't allowed to step foot in Jivapur. But he didn't take my authority in Vrindapur. He was hurt by my actions. He didn't name anyone as his second in command.
I had blood on my hands. Although he removed me from the gang, I had enemies. His enemies were mine.
Now I had Manvi to take care of.
Soon after our marriage, she was pregnant. I will never forget how happy I was that day.
She asked me to meet at our secret spot. And she revealed that we were going to be parents.
