Chapter-48
Author's POV
His already dark brown eyes darkened more after seeing her getting inside the red Jeep with Aryan. It's been going on like this for a week now. He thought she might accept his apology and let it go but she wasn't ready to forgive him, yet.
Parul was adamant about ignoring him. Although she knew it was going to backfire her sooner she persisted on ignoring him. She knew the consequences of getting on his bad side but still, a part of her was adamant.
It was thrilling too!! Yeah.
She felt like a teenager. Shiva on the other hand was angry. Pissed off at her silly tactics. He knew she was doing it purposely. Every time he texted her asking about her day or something like that, she would give him unrelated responses.
Am I forgiven Fianna? He had texted her after her visit to the hospital. I'm busy. She had replied after several hours.
At first, Shiva didn't understand that she was playing a game but then he gradually understood. He enjoyed it though. He thought she was testing his love for her and he would gladly prove it.
While Parul was busy ignoring Shiva, he tactically sent his mother to Bangalore to talk with Parul's grandparents. She wasn't aware of this news.
Revathi was discharged the same evening. Parul waited until the doctors informed Shiva about the discharge and then she left, despite Shiva's, strong refusal. He kept shouting her name but Parul ran away from there. It was after sitting inside the cab, she heaved out a deep breath. She was terrified.
Shiva was angry but he controlled it. His mother was still in the hospital and he needed to take her home.
After that, he was caught up in some important underground work. He was quite busy all the week. And so he had no time to warn or threaten Parul regarding her ignorance.
Aryan accompanied her all the week. He picked up and dropped her home. She enjoyed his company. But she was on alert all the time.
She was aware of Shiva's strong dislike towards Aryan. She knew what would happen if Shiva lost his patience. And that's the reason she started giving him unrelated replies. At least it would keep him sane. That's what she thought.
Revathi recovered quickly. She was happy that Parul came to visit her at the hospital. She even noticed the chain, his son's chain, around her neck. She wanted to talk with her personally but decided against it.
Shiva had told her that Parul was quite scared, and so she refused the proposal. Poor Revathi believed it.
After they went home, she talked with her son. She wanted to know about Shiva's future plans. She had asked him... Do you love Parul? Do you want to get married to her? Does she like you?
And Shiva replied..... I love her more than anything else in this world. If there is someone I want to spend the rest of my life with it is HER. I really want to get married to her.
Stunned by his reply, Revathi forgot about the last question that he did not answer.
Shiva quickly persuaded her to talk with Parul's grandparents. Revathi was happy. She was waiting for his son to settle down. And it was happening now. She wanted nothing more than his happiness.
Shiva was ecstatic. Parul had no idea about the drama that was about to unfold, soon. It was written and directed by Shiva Raj Ratha Aras.
He knew that Parul would never go against her grandparent's words. And so their acceptance was required. She might cause a fuss, throw some temper and act like a brat. It is until Shiva uses his power over her.
