Chapter -87
Author's POV
Parul was lying on the bed, curled up into a fetal position. Tears escaped her eyes without any confines. It's been more than hours since that argument, she was still sobbing.
She was quite hurt, to be honest.
If he hadn't been nice to her in the
past few days or weeks, she wouldn't have been this hurt. Shiva has scolded her in the past, even slapped her, called her names and whatnot? She was hurt in the past too but the difference is, that she didn't love him in the past and now that she knew that she loved him, it made her feel bad and gloomy.
The problem is when we love someone, we tend to ignore all the red flags. And they don't seem bad in the beginning not until we choose to leave.
Parul knew the consequences of loving a man like Shiva.
He wasn't normal in any sense.
He was Notorious, Ruthless and a beast in human skin. He was intimidating, dominating and had a devilish aura.
He was possessive, obsessed with her, and loved her way too much. It was dangerous.
Knowingly or unknowingly she had fallen for a walking red flag and it wasn't her mistake either.
Although they are tiny bits and pieces, he also has some outstanding qualities that she found amusing, and heart-melting.
He was caring, gentle at times, protective, and loved her dearly. He doesn't let go of any chance to prove to her that he loves her truly and that he'd do anything and everything for her.
It's been many days since Shiva threw a temper or even shouted at her. It was kinda unsettling because she had been accustomed to the gentle side of Shiva. She had nearly forgotten, nearly, that Shiva was not a gentleman to begin with.
After she pushed him and scurried upstairs, she went straight to their room. She cried hugging her knees and after some time, she stopped crying.
A big part of her was expecting him to run behind her, barge inside the room and console her. Because that's what he did after hurting her every time.
Shockingly Shiva didn't run behind her.
Instead, he left.
He left for his secret haven.
If it was a few days ago, he would have driven straight to the bar or one of his private pubs. Drink until he cannot feel anything.
But now, even he knows that he has changed and the very reason is her.
She was changing him. For good and for worse.
He went to his favourite place and decided to go home after some time.
He didn't regret killing Lewis. He would do it again and again, even more brutally if that's possible. He would do it all over again.
Although Parul considers him innocent, Shiva knows the way he was ogling at Parul. To her, it was just a normal way of looking and smiling. But for him, it was anything but normal.
No one, literally, no one in their sane mind would look at Shiva's wife. Poor Lewis didn't know anything about Shiva. It wasn't his fault though.
Shiva is a possessive man and he didn't like the way Lewis behaved the whole night.
The only reason he remained silent was her. For her.
He was already angry because she hadn't received his calls and on top of that, she was crying for some other man and it pissed him off like anything.
