Chapter-68
Author's POV
Revathi Aras went to Bangalore and met Parul's family to discuss the marriage.
It happened shortly before Madhurya Mahotsav.
Shiva asked his mother to talk with Raman and so she did.
Raman was actually happy when she called him regarding this matter.
And upon Shiva's request, yes, he requested them to keep it private until today.
Raman and his wife believed that Shiva and Parul were in love and she would be happy to marry him.
Well, Shiva didn't lie about anything.
He told them that Parul liked him and that was all it took for them to say yes to the proposal.
Revathi was so happy. She liked Parul's family and was eagerly waiting for things to become official.
She invited Parul's grandparents to Jivapur to celebrate the happy news.
Parul was oblivious to everything.
" When did this happen?" Parul asked Raman, she wanted to know what all happened behind her back.
And Raman told her everything.
By the end, she told her decision, which was, Yes, I will marry him, and then ended the call.
Should've been a director! Mastermind!
Turning off the phone, she lay on the bed, trying to focus on something else other than this marriage drama and the mastermind behind this drama.

The air was still. A gentle hush pervaded the surroundings. The canopy of twinkling stars adorned the sky, casting a soft, soothing light. The moon, in its quiet elegance, bathed the landscape with a gentle glow.
The air was filled with crickets chirping, and a distant owl hooting softly.
It was a peaceful night but not quite enough for two souls.
One was sleeping the worry off and the other one was, watching her sleeping.
He was happy, angry and sad at the same time.
Happy that she finally said Yes to marrying him.
Angry because she said I hate you.
Sad because she wasn't appreciating his efforts.
Truly, he was trying. But Parul didn't want any of this.
A man like him requested her grandparents. Well, it wouldn't have been a big deal if Shiva wasn't who he was.
Requesting, convincing, pleading, and begging, didn't exist in his dictionary.
He could've threatened the old couple to get her married to him and they would have had no choice other than to accept the proposal.
But he didn't do that.
Not because, he has a soft corner for the old couple.
Because he has a soft corner for her.
He didn't feel like doing it. He knew how she would react and he didn't want that.
He wanted to see happiness in her eyes. He loved how her eyes twinkled when she was happy. It was beautiful and he, he wanted to be the reason for her happiness.
