Chapter-51

Author's POV

(They are celebrating the love of Radha and Krishna and it is called Madhurya Mahotsav. And so they are playing Holi too)

The air filled with laughter, music, and dance as people moved to the beats of traditional folk songs and drums. People joined the lively processions called "holi parades" singing and dancing to the tunes of Radha and Krishna, making their way through the colourfully decorated streets.

It was a true merriment. People gathered in the streets, open spaces, and temples, drenched in an array of vibrant colours. They threw and smeared colours at each other, creating a kaleidoscope of hues.

Kids especially used water guns, water balloons and coloured water to playfully drench one another.

Just like everyone else in the town, Parul and co had gathered to celebrate Madhurya Mahotsav with Holi. Their spirits soared with excitement and anticipation.

Everyone held a handful of vibrant coloured powders, ready to create a riot of hues in the air. Laughter and cheerful banter filled the atmosphere as they attacked one another with colours.

Girls squealed as the guys ran behind them threatening to use more Colors.

Parul was laughing heartily as Aryan chased her. Manav squealed, encouraging his Papa to throw colours at his favourite mish!

Before Aryan could throw, Parul bent over and threw the colour on his face, laughing victoriously.

" Unfair... Parul!" she stuck her tongue out in response to his complaint.

He grinned mischievously, grabbing a handful of pink colour, and running behind her.

Compared to all of them, only her dress looked clean. She was running like a deer, escaping from everyone.

Parul held onto her stomach, faking tiredness as Aryan caught up to her. Aryan for a second believed her act.

When he was about to throw the colour, she swirled forcing his hands to caress the underneath of her bosom. Her white dress was smeared with a pink colour below her bosom.

It was an accident and Parul didn't bother about it. Pushing him back, she turned around to run but Aryan caught her wrists, forcing her to stop running.

" caught ya!" he grinned, moving his coloured palm towards her. Parul was breathing heavily, she ran quite fastly. " Hey!" when Aryan's hands were an inch away from her face, she exclaimed looking front. Aryan turned back. Before he could realise that she fooled him, she pulled out of his hold and started sprinting.

" Pari is not playing by the rule" Aryan exclaimed, smearing his hands with more colour, running behind her.

She looked back and her eyes widened. Aryan was a few steps away from her.

Her steps stumbled and she dashed into something hard. Hissing sharply, she looked up.

Her eyes widened. It wasn't something. It was rather someone.

All the smile and playfulness left her body. Fear was what danced in her honey-brown eyes.

His chocolate brown eyes remained a while on her slightly colour-smeared face before leaning down to her body.

His fists clenched on their own seeing the colour underneath her bosom.

" Did he do that?" his voice was sharp like a knife.
