Chapter-108

Author's POV

Jivapur

He was sitting in front of the laptop, watching 'their' cute moments recorded in the form of videos.

They were on the hilltop. His curls were dressed with flowers. They were kissing in that video.

His eyes were veiled with moisture, his heart shattering as he looked more.

He didn't know what was worse.

The fact that she was missing or the fact that she confessed and disappeared without a trace.

Although he was angry at Aditi for giving her the pills, he didn't do anything. The influence of his wife on his behaviour was so much so that, when he saw Aditi quivering, he didn't say anything for an hour.

What did she say before asking the pills? Was his only question directed towards her.

She asked me for the pills and I brought it. She didn't say anything. I didn't ask anything. He dismissed her after she said this.

He had no energy to talk to her any further.

He thought probably she didn't want to have kids soon so she must've asked for the pills. But the demons inside his head suggested otherwise.

She left you purposefully.

Every time the voice suggested this, he felt bad, almost hopeless.

He wondered why it was so hard to love him.

But then he knew the answer. He did so many things to hurt her. It'd only be right if she chose to leave him. But the love-depraved part of him didn't agree with it.
It wanted to be loved by her. It wanted her to choose him.

Shiva was losing himself. Not that he became radio silent. He was investing his anger and hurt in Brunda's men.

Karthik and Jaga were captured by Mansoor, last week. It so happened that they were found soon after his wife disappeared.

Shiva had all the right to suspect them. But after days of torturing them, he knew that they had no idea about Parul.

However, that didn't stop him from torturing them. Only Parul could stop him from hurting them or anyone for that matter.

One touch, one look and one call, he'd become the most obedient man on this earth.

He was yearning to be held by her.

His ears were dying to hear her angelic voice calling. The way she called him—Shiva—Rowdy. He could listen to her all day and wouldn't be tired. Her laughter was his favourite melody. He missed her soft moans. They were music to his ears.

He missed looking into her beautiful honey-brown eyes. Jennifer's or not, they now belonged to Parul and he loved every inch of her.

He missed holding her close to his chest. Cuddling with her, even arguing with her. He missed her tantrums.

He missed cooking for her. It must've been days since he ate properly.

He missed everything about her.

Before she came into his life, he hardly cried once or twice. Nowadays, crying for his wife has become his routine. He couldn't cry in front of his family.

Her grandparents would be devasted if they saw Shiva crying. They were living on the hope of his promise. He had promised that he would find her at any cost. He didn't like leaving the penthouse but he had to see them and make sure his mom, grandfather and her grandparents were doing fine. It was Sameer's job to make sure they did not skip meals.
