Chapter-56

Author's POV

His eyes intensely bore into her teary ones. Her body shook with anger.

Tears were on the verge of escape but she was adamant and refused to let them down.

"If you think by doing all of this, you can have me...then you are wrong..." She snapped, taking a daring step towards him. Shiva arched his brows, challenging her to continue this conversation.

" I'm never going to love a vile person like you" Ignoring all the red flags, she spat, poking his chest hardly.

His jaw twitched in anger.

" Vile? You say?" Shiva took a threatening step towards her, closing the distance between them.

" I am not vile...fia" he traced her cheeks, gently. His eyes were dark and flickered with something akin to Madness.

" I'm the DARKNESS..." his voice had a dark touch which made her eyes widen in horror.

His knuckles caressed her cheeks softly, his eyes looking lovingly into hers.

The feeling made her shudder. He looked no less than a psycho.

" the very Darkness you are scared of!" his lips stretched into an evil smile.

" Darkness doesn't reside in me..." his eyes moved crazily all over her face, her terrified face. She was breathing heavily at this point.

" For I am the DARKNESS Paaru" he whispered, softly, maliciously.

His eyes glittered with madness. He didn't look normal. He looked possessed. He was a Psycho and his eyes flickered with evilness.

She was speechless. No sounds came out of her mouth. She was terrified by the way he was looking at her.

Shiva loved the fear in her eyes. The demons inside his head were satisfied by her reaction.

But his heart didn't seem to agree with those bloody demons.

Sucking in a sharp breath, he cupped her face.

His eyes lightened a bit, the madness was still there, but the intensity had reduced.

He looked almost, almost, normal. As if he didn't scare the shit out of her a few seconds ago.

" Let's go for lunch...I am hungry" he said, casually.

Her brows scrunched. She was so angry at him.

After creating so much Chaos, he was asking her out for lunch. He wasn't asking. He just informed her.

" You are mad..." she scoffed, pushing his hands off of her face.

Shiva gritted his teeth, his fists tightened on their own.

" People are dying out there!" she sounded angry. " You've kidnapped my best friends and you want me to have lunch with you..?" she looked at him in disbelief.

She didn't understand the level of his madness.

He kidnapped her friends for god sake!

" What's the big deal in that?" despite the anger raising, he tried to remain calm. He sounded way too nonchalant.

He didn't like the fact that she was so bothered about them.

It should be him. She shouldn't be bothered about anyone or anything for that matter. He will be bothering her and she should be bothered about him and only him.
