Chapter-27
Author's POV
She was lying on the small bed, looking at the pale white ceiling. A muffled hiss escaped her lips as the sharp needle pierced into her skin.
" God! This sucks!!" sitting straight, she looked at the doctor standing in front of her.
Her little antics brought a smile on his lips. Walking out of the small space, he looked at Aditi.
" Get the medicines..." he passed her the prescription, she nodded and left the room.
" Pari...it's high time you pay attention to your health!" he sounded quite irritated.
" Okay Doc..." she grinned her teeth, trying to make him smile which she accomplished.
" What's wrong with my neck..?" she asked, pointing towards the back of her neck.
The cold mixed with body pain was torturing her. Aditi had to drag her to the hospital.
She thought it was Shiva and his cold warnings but it was stress.
Her body was heating up because of the fever.
He leaned closer to her neck to inspect the area. It was spotless. Just when he was about to touch the spot, she turned her face towards him resulting in the colliding of their nose, gently.
Their eyes connected and from the other angle, it looked as if his lips were on hers. But that wasn't the case.
Their faces were so close. For a brief second, Ved was stunned. They were about to lean back on their own but a strong punch on Ved's cheeks did the job.
Hissing in pain, he fell on the floor.
She looked at the man who just hit Ved. A horrified scream escaped her lips.
It was him.
Shiva Raj Ratha Aras.
She looked into his raging brown eyes. Without paying attention to her teary eyes, he moved towards Ved.
Sensing the gravity of the situation, she pushed him back with all her might. Surprisingly, Shiva stumbled back.
" Don't you hit him!" she raised her voice, looking at him with anger-filled eyes.
Shiva clenched his fists, the bursting sound of his knuckles reverberated in the silent room.
Parul was helping Ved to stand when she felt a strong tug in her hair. Yelping, she turned towards Shiva who was looking at her with pure rage.
" Mansoor!" he yelled in her face, tugging her hair again.
Mansoor walked in and dragged Ved outside the cabin despite his struggles. He locked the door from outside leaving the two alone.
Tears streamed down her eyes as all the worst possibilities flashed before her eyes.
Being alone with him in a room was scaring her the most.
" You want to act like a desperate slut?" he hissed, pulling her closer to his face.
Her lips trembled. She failed to speak.
"It's time that I show you how desperate sluts are treated." warning was clear in his deep voice.
" I'm not a Slut!" she cried, trying to push his hands off her.
