He had his doubts but he never thought that she would act foolishly. She knew, she knew very well about the consequences of escaping him and still, she tried.

Not only did she try, but failed. Instead of escaping him, she fell into a trap of serial rapists.

Kunal, a cab driver in the name was a rapist, a serial rapist.

Several weeks ago, Kushi, a doctor, aged 26, was gang raped. They burnt her body near the forest area.

It was brutal and the police failed to catch the criminals despite
given such media publicity.

Shiva and his men were looking for these bastards but never, never in his wildest dreams did he imagine something like this.

Just the thought of Parul suffering at the hands of these rapists was enough to set his body on rage. He was furious.

It's been three years, three years since he prayed for someone else's well-being.

He has been on many operations, fights and whatnot. He was never scared. But it was terrifying him to the core.

Anything can happen and by the time they reached, they could have raped her and dumped her body somewhere else.

Fifteen minutes showed on the map. But it felt like years. He just needed fifteen minutes to reach that goddamn place. Mansoor and Vikram were scouring the forest but to no avail.

They were in the suggested location but there was nothing except the thick forest.

Shiva knew something wasn't right.

If she wasn't there at the location, it meant two things.

One, they've purposefully led them into the wrong place.

Two, they were at the location but not exactly where she's been held.

It was highly impossible for the first thing to happen because, if at all, those rapists had seen the pendant, they would never, NEVER touch her.

Everyone in the State knew about Shiva Raj Aras. Everyone had heard about their royal family and everyone knew the tales of Ratha's cruelty.

If they had seen the pendant, they definitely would have left her alone and went on with their duty.

There was also a rare possibility. They might have seen the pendant and still did whatever they did. Maybe, they weren't aware of Notorious Shiva.

If that was the case, those rapists did not belong to Amaravati. They must be outsiders. And was not aware of Ashen Reapers.

And if they didn't know about Shiva, chances of saving her seemed less to none. And that scared him.

Even the dangerous of the dangerous man was scared.

The man who claimed himself as the darkness was scared of losing a woman.

If at all something happened to her, he would bring hell down to earth.

He didn't want to think about it. Just the thought of her being in danger made him breathless. It was difficult to imagine something like that.

He hoped that she wasn't crying like she does with him. Seeing her in tears prompted him to do the unthinkable. He might even set those bloody rapists on fire. Burn them alive and make her watch.

Oh, he hasn't forgotten that she was escaping him and that led her to this trap.

He will protect her from all the odds. He will shield her from all the bad things. But no one, no one could protect her from him.
