Chapter-19
Author's POV
Little Manav waved his hands at his favourite 'mish' and ran towards his grandmother who was waiting for him.
Aryan went to Vrindapur for some personal reasons and so Manav's grandmother came to pick him up from school.
Parul watched the little boy jogging towards an elderly woman who looked elegant.
She was wearing a cream and gold saree, and her black silky hairs were tied up into a neat bun. Minimal jewels adorned her elegant face, giving her a classy grace. Her brown hooded eyes reminded Parul of certain someone. She shrugged her shoulders and made her way to the cabin.
The elderly woman watched Parul in some sort of amusement. The girl looked like a perfect match for her only son.
" my baby...." she picked up the kid, placing a warm kiss on his chubby cheeks.
" Nani...look... mish gave me the star!" Manav squealed bringing his right hand towards her eye level.
" she??" Revathi asked, looking towards the direction where Parul disappeared a minute ago.
Manav nodded, smiling widely.
" Sona mish..." He said, looking at her and then outside the window.
Her brows creased,
" Sona... Is her name Sona?" after a brief minute of thinking, she asked. Manav shook his head and nodded at the same time.
" Papa and Adi Aunty calls her Sona... Mish name is Parul" he pouted looking at his grandmother. He loved talking about his favourite 'mish'
Revathi smiled at the kid and then sighed thinking about something important.
After thirty minutes of driving, the car came to a halt in front of a huge mansion.
Revathi walked inside the mansion holding Manav in her arms.
" Shivu mama.." Manav squealed throwing his hands in the air and looking at his uncle, Shiva, who was sitting on the couch, working on a laptop.
Shiva placed the laptop aside and hugged the little boy.
" How's my little champ?" Shiva asked, squeezing his cheeks gently.
" Mish gave me a star.." Manav jumped on the couch showing his right hand to Shiva.
As soon as Manav mentioned 'mish' a sly smile appeared on his smile.
" Is it...? Good boy" he patted his shoulders keeping his face normal.
Revathi watched the duo talking happily. She'd do anything to see her son happy. Sighing, she left to bring some snacks to Manav.

He was leaning against the trunk of the red Jeep, his eyes fixed on the distant sky.
Twinkling stars adorned the sky along with the big bright moon. His eyes turned slightly misty looking at one particular star. It looked brightest compared to the rest of them.
" Miss you..." a heavy breath escaped his lips as a single tear trickled down his eyes.
" Manav misses you too!" another tear escaped his eyes.
