Chapter -63

Author's POV

The flames roared, almost touching the sky. In a matter of seconds the hut along with the three of them, reduced to ashes.

Parul's face was buried in his chest. His hands gently cupped the back of her head. While his eyes glistened with satisfaction. They were burning, just like his heart and soul did while he learnt about her kidnap. Just like how his whole form burnt when he saw her tied up to the chair, beaten and abused.

It was satisfying his hungry soul. Watching their terrific faces as Mansoor set them on fire was something that couldn't be explained in words.

Thankfully Shiva didn't force her to watch it. She hid her face inside his chest and hugged him tightly. As if he would shield her from the bad things.

He was. But she wasn't aware.

" Forgive me..." Shiva whispered, after a very long silence.

Parul shook her head. She didn't understand why he was asking for her forgiveness. She still refused to pull back from the hug.

Shiva was bound by a promise. A promise which made him feel helpless.

He wanted to take their lives with his own hands. But. He couldn't. He was bound.

His teeth gritted on their own. He was furious.

Mansoor went to check Kunal's car and he took the bag, and Shiva's chain that was sitting on the seat.

" Bhai...here?" Mansoor's voice brought him out of the trance. Parul peered her eyes towards Mansoor and she pulled back from the hug, scared.

Along with the platinum chain, he was holding a blue bag in his hands.

Now that everything with those rapists was over, the real ordeal started.

" To the car..." Shiva ordered before taking the chain out of his hands.

Parul licked her lips, she was scared.

Now that she realised it wasn't over, it just started, her heart pounded madly against her chest.

Shiva turned towards her, his jaws locked, his eyes blazing with fire.

Without saying anything, he put the chain around her neck and dragged her towards his car.

Parul followed him silently. He literally shoved her inside and settled next to her.

Vikram was driving Shiva's car as Bheema stayed back to settle down everything.

Mansoor followed them.

" It's not a horse carriage!" Shiva spat, disliking the speed Vikram was driving.

He was furious and he wanted to reach Jivapur as soon as possible.

Vikram nodded and pulled the gear, setting the car on full speed.

Within a few seconds, the forest disappeared and they were on the road, the highway precisely.

Parul grabbed his arm and looked at Shiva, he looked furious.

" Shiva please ask him to slow down" She was scared. Something about the car speeding on a highway was triggering her.

Her breathing came out in shudders. She was clutching his arms tightly.

Shiva looked down at her. She was sweating although the AC was turned on.
