Chapter-58
Author's POV
Aditi looked at the small bag placed on the couch. She couldn't believe her own eyes. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.
She even pinched herself hard to confirm it.
It was true.
It was happening.
She wasn't imagining things.
Indeed there was a bag, a packed navy blue bag placed on the couch. And what's concerning about a mere bag is, its owner. Parul Yadav.
She looked at the girl, sitting beside the blue bag, tapping her legs in extreme nervousness.
" You are not thinking properly Sona!" Aditi said, sounding serious. She was concerned about her.
Parul shook her head, defeated and disappointed.
" If I think anymore... I'm afraid, I'll lose it" She looked up at her. Her honey pools glistened with tears. Aditi engulfed Parul in her warmth.
" He loves me so much..." Parul removed herself from the hug and held Aditi's hand in hers, which was slightly cold unlike hers, she was dead cold. Fear was the reason.
Aditi was stunned to hear this from Parul.
Till now, she thought Parul wasn't seeing it.
" He loves me so much and it is dangerous... really dangerous for me" She started shaking her head as if denying would make her fear go away.
Aditi squeezed her cold hands and,
" So you are leaving?" she was worried. Her heart was pounding.
Parul shook her head. " You are escaping him?" Aditi was slightly confused. She shook her head again. " I cannot escape him..." Parul sighed, defeated. " I must disappear Adi...that's the only way out!" Parul whispered as if the walls might hear her out.
Aditi's brows furrowed in confusion.
How will she disappear from him?
" How..? How is it possible? Sona?" Aditi was clueless.
" I don't know..." her voice contorted with her worried face. Helpless. She looked helpless.
" But I know that I cannot stay here... I cannot marry Shiva...
I cannot" She shook her head curtly, her words were a mere whisper.
Those words held no power whatsoever. Deep down, both of them knew, she was fighting a losing battle.
She could try but she will never win.
Aditi squeezed her hands gently and hugged her again.
" Run...just go... never come here again...go" Aditi looked into her eyes, helplessness danced in those black pools. But she sounded determined.
She didn't want her best friend to suffer.
Parul looked at her, shocked. Baffled.
She thought Aditi might stop her, and advise her about the consequences of running away.
" Adi...." Parul was at short of words. She didn't know what to say. " Sona..listen, he will definitely go mad but he won't kill me..so...don't worry..." Although she tried to sound confident, her voice wavered.
Parul heaved out a shaky sigh and,
" I love you Adi..." she looked at her with glistening eyes. " I love you more Sona.." she pecked her cheeks.
