Chapter 28

Zianah Khione POV

"Nakahanda na ba ang mga gamit na dadalhin mo, anak?" tanong ni momma pagkapasok sa room ko.

I am currently preparing all of my things na dadalhin sa Isla del Bravo. We will be staying there for three days dahil birthday ni mamala.

"I am done na po, momma." sagot ko at isinara na ang maletang dadalhin ko.

I am now wearing a civilian outfit since it's Friday small bag lang ang dadalhin ko. Kuya, yan-yan and I will attend our classes muna unlike our cousins na noong isang araw pa raw nagpunta roon sabi ni Kuya Kad at hindi na nagsipasok sa mga classes nila.

Momma brought my things downstairs to make sure na walang maiiwan. She will fetch us later sa university para sabay-sabay kaming magpunta sa Isla del Bravo since mommy have some errands in the university with daddylo too.

"Let's go na. Ako na maghahatid sa inyo." saad ni momma.

All of us went to momma's car immediately. She opened the door for mommy while Kuya opened the door for me. I miss the old days when momma is the one sending and picking up us in school. They kind of busy na kase because of works but, every time they have free time they are the one who picking up the three of us from school and we'll eat dinner outside as a family.

"Wow! You're so beautiful there, ate!" manghang saad ni yan-yan habang nakaturo sa labas.

Mabilis akong tumingin sa kung saan silang lahat nakatingin ngayon at nakita ko ang litrato kong nasa isang malaking tarpaulin bago pumasok ng university. It was taken from the awarding ceremony in Barcelona, Spain.

I guess being second is not really that bad. I gained a lot of new followers sa social media accounts ko from different countries because of the competition. Lahat din ng mga piece ko from my Photography competition I joined in Thailand became viral again just like my winning piece in Spain.

A lot of people in social media compared mine and the grand winners piece but, I didn't say anything about it. It still hurts me pero I know mas masakit ito ngayon sa nanalo since a lot of people are questioning the panel of judges kung paano nanalo yung piece niya.

"You really did well, anak." proud na sabi ni mommy sa akin habang nakangiti lang na nakatingin sa akin si Kuya at Momma.

Ibinaba lang kami ni momma sa tapat ng main entrance, she kissed the four of us before letting us get off the car. There are a lot of students waiting for me habang may mga hawak na bulaklak and gifts for me.

Kuya and Zeeian act like my body guards beside me at inalalayan ako papunta sa designated room ko dahil ang daming mga students ang lumalapit sa akin to give their gifts. Pagdating ko sa room ay punong-puno ng mga regalo ang classroom namin. Some of my block mates are eating some of the chocolates dahil wala ng mapaglagyan.

"Should I tell this to momma? So, she can send you body guards, Khione?" nag-aalalang tanong ni Kuya Kad hawak na ang cellphone to contanct momma.

"No need, kuya. I can manage naman." sagot ko but before they could leave my room ay dumating si mommy together with our three body guards.

"Go to your daddylo's office after your class, okay? These three will just keep you safe baka mamaya may mangharass sa iyo. Sabay-sabay tayong pupunta sa parking lot later pagdating ng momma mo, hmm?" sabi ni mommy na kinatanguan ko lang.

The three of them kissed me before leaving habang ang mga body guards naman ay isa-isa ng kinukuha ang mga regalo sa room namin.

"Congratulations, Z! I'm so proud of you, girl!" sigaw ni Dani at Brianna sa akin habang namumula na naman ang mukha dahil nakita ang dalawa kong kapatid.
