law only nodded in understanding once before his gaze drifted downward...stopping at her right arm hidden beneath her coat's sleeves, palms also covered by...bandages?
why bandages? did something happen?
after a brief moment, he tilted his head toward it, "your arm...how is it holding up?"
...[name] blinked, my arm...? she followed his gaze downward before gently rubbing her right arm with her left hand, "it's fine. you...did a lot for us back then, thank you again."
law shook his head once, "you don't need to thank me. we're pirates, i'm a doctor, and you two were my patients. don't forget that."
"shishishi! i guess!" luffy laughed loudly, the sound breaking the quiet tension in the air. his usual bright grin stretched across his face, "if we're both going after the one piece, then that makes us enemies!"
