when one looks back to their childhood, one remembers the vivid springs of laughter, climbing trees and reaching out for the stars, and making flower crowns in fields of flowers. but when [name] looked back at her youth, it was void of those colorfu...

chapter 046. her courage is not foolishness
[ protect him till the very end! ]

[name] is well aware of her reckless decisions.
kizaru was made of light. akainu was most likely made of magma, and both of them were logia types. the only one she had a chance of laying even a finger on was probably aokiji, that was, only if he was a paramecia type. she didn't know which kind of devil fruit he had eaten.
one must only be foolish to take on all three admirals at once when even a single one of them was enough to take down a thousand people within the blink of an eye.
she wasn't dumb.
she wasn't stupid.
she might not know how to count, yeah, or even read.
she was clever.
it was light, magma, and ice versus brute strength.
"out of the way...little girl!"
light.
light travels...her eye that didn't blink once looked through kizaru's plan, which was to flash towards luffy who was heading straight for ace at the execution platform. [name] reacted in an instant, her hands plunging into the earth. cobblestone tore like fabric beneath her grip as she ripped apart the path in a clean, brutal line. in straight lines!
kizaru's path was abruptly cut off, stone rising like a barricade. he was forced to shatter it mid-flight, rock fragments exploding before him as he clicked his tongue in mild annoyance.
kizaru clicks his tongue, "my my...your brute strength is as same as ever, huh?"
"you're wasting time, kizaru."
aokiji raises his hand next, and a cold chill travels through the air. [name] is ready for the attack of ice that comes straight for her, just like she expected.
powering up her fist, she slammed it forward. the air detonated between them, a shockwave blasting through the battlefield. the ice shattered in mid-air, bursting into a storm of glinting shards that whirled like snowflakes made of glass.
koby covered his eyes to prevent any shards from injuring them. once he didn't feel the wind anymore, he opened his curious eyes to see what had happened in front of his eyes—just in time to see the battlefield glitter with broken ice and [name] still standing.
luffy looked over his shoulder after punching another marine out of the way, gazing at [name], who had managed to survive five seconds against the admirals without injuring herself.
