the rooftop of the tower still glowed faintly with the remnants of [name]'s black flames, their dark heat licking at the pillars that stretched impossibly high into the night sky, reaching toward the crescent moon which hung in its opposite lunar phase.
without a doubt, tartarus itself seemed to smolder and collapse under the weight of [name]'s hatred.
but this time...so too did end burn, the destruction mirroring the fire within her, yet even amidst the ash and ruin, the espada remained standing.
the magician boy rose to his feet, his posture cold and unnervingly calm, his eyes hollow and empty in a way that mirrored [name]'s own once-glimmering gaze, now stripped of light.
his stare locked onto the straw hats with a calculated intensity that made the air thick with threat, before finally shifting toward luna, who met his gaze with all the weakness she could muster.
"that girl...belongs to us."
his voice was a knife cutting through the tense silence of the rooftop.
zoro's eyes narrowed, his jaw tightening as he stepped forward, a low growl escaping his throat, "what did you say?"
"[name]-chan," sanji's voice was sharp, unyielding as he squared himself, glaring at the magician with all the fire in his chest, "doesn't belong to anyone!"
nami clutched [name] close to her, her arms a shield of warmth and protection as the crew aligned themselves before the intruder, each one radiating determination, ready to throw themselves into the fight once more for the sake of their pillar, for the one they had sworn to protect.
and seeing this unwavering resolve, end's own eyes darkened with hatred, a shadow of frustration creeping into his stance.
his eyes blaze a dangerous blue, flames licking at his form, his voice cutting through the tension like a blade.
"that girl...is a demon. she will slowly destroy each and every one of you, heartlessly. she is a weapon, she belongs to the world government."
luffy steps forward, his fists clenching as if he could crush the world with them alone, his voice booming, "[name] is our nakama! i don't care what she is! [name] is [name]!not a weapon!"
end's gaze sharpens, pointing a single finger at her, "...that girl...is the daughter of antheana d. emma; antheana d. luna."
antheana...nami repeated in her mind slowly, letting the name linger in the air as if tasting its weight.
