snow is both an illuminated joy and tribulation for others, those lucent streaks that shape the quaint mold of every snowflake. enveloping the unfathomably cavernous yet enchanting woodlands in its frosty white, bringing devastation to the crops but beauty to the land. even the rays of the sun were no longer tangible during mornings, the cold blizzard swallowing it away from sight.
it is the week of winter on a certain island where two teens whose fates were intertwined had lived together for the past two years.
leaning against the bark of a tree was a girl who had turned seventeen years old, her eyes as dark as midnight with a strong shade of [e/c] and hair glimmering with the snow that settled with little specks of white.
a giant gorrila had threatened to hurt one of luffy's friends as she waited by the corner, and she noticed, "hey..."
the giant blue gorilla she named mimo and the green alligator she named mimi suddenly stopped, staring at her sudden sharp look in her eye, "hands off of her."
an overwhelming aura came from just her glare. instantly, both of her companies that luffy never got to eat and so she named, cowered away in fear, nodding at her in submission as they held themselves from nearly passing out.
the blonde girl smiled at her, nodding in thanks, "t-thank you..."
[name] simply nods, turning away yet again to lean back against the bark of a tree.
...he sure is taking his time...she thinks to herself, burying her chin into her scarf once more.
puffs of cold smoke came out of her parted lips when a certain boy walked over to her with his straw hat back on his head, dream revived, "captain..."
her said captain had his grin as bright as the sun that instantly warmed her up, "[name]!"
his big round black irises loved to gaze upon her new attire.
his pillar...was not like she used to be two years ago. he never noticed since they had spent these past two years by each other's side, but something about her...remained the same. maybe it was her kind smile that she gave that instantly warmed him up.
she had adorned different clothes, but unlike himself, it was entirely different from what she used to wear not long ago. she wore a baby white kimono with a black obi on her waist, tied securely with a white string like a ribbon. over the kimono, she wore a simple black haori, which was long enough to reach her mid-thigh - on her legs were long black boots that only left her thighs bare.
