chapter 54. princesses and sharks

"zoro is a bully."
"i am not! shut up!"
zoro had gone entirely wild, but he still did what [name] had requested of him, and that was not hurting any of them and simply tying them up. it was a good way to fight back when they were being attacked by the royal soldiers and in the midst of chaos, they assumed that king neptune was the villain as well - the pirates seemed more like villains now.
"you overdid it, zoro!"
the green-haired swordsman's scowl deepened, "and how did i overdo it?"
without words of explanation, usopp, nami and brook pointed at king neptune who was pitifully tied up with metal chains. there was a lump on king neptune's head as well, undeniably caused by [name]'s brutal action. it might seem like a bad decision at the first glance but [name] thought she chose the most reasonable choice — it was still better than cruelly murdering everyone on the spot, right?
right?
she bowed in apology at the king, "i'm sorry for hurting you-"
"don't apologize to him!" zoro dragged her away yet again, throwing her body towards usopp who caught the poor girl (usopp best friend in the house).
brook stared at the not-guilty expression on the criminal's face, "reflect on your actions for a bit! this is a grave sin!"
"this is a battle you started! we're accomplices, you idiots!" zoro yelled back, defending both him and [name] — they were in fact, not guilty in their minds.
"no, no, we were only trying to intimidate them!" usopp diverted the crime back onto zoro, a proud look adorning his face.
"yeah yeah," [name] nods, "zoro was threatning me to hurt the king! it wasn't my fault."
"don't blame this one me!" zoro scolded. "you were the one who was dragging me around like a sack!"
in the background, nami could be seen sighing melancholic as if she was missing the tranquil earlier, "i was just enjoying the peace for a brief moment..."
rolling his eyes, zoro placed his katana casually on his shoulder. his surroundings weren't exactly the best sight ever, considering that there were slashes embedded onto the floor and royal soldiers being tied up beside king neptune as well. the work was definitely mostly done by zoro.
