The next morning when Sophie woke up she had a feeling the day was going to be pretty terrible. Today was the day Edaline was going to talk to Grady about her and Keefe's relationship. She was terrified Grady wouldn't be okay with Sophie and Keefe being together and despite Keefe's reassurances the night before she was terrified he would break up with her. She knew she was being stupid but she couldn't help it. Keefe had helped her through so much in the last few months and now she couldn't imagine her life without him. He made her complete. They were perfect for each other. She loved him withall her heart. She hoped he loved her with all of his too. It was still dark but she could see the sun rising behind Castle Hill so Sophie assumed it was about five in the morning. She realised that Keefe had disappeared so she went looking for him. She found him sitting on what she called the jumping rock. She climbed up and sat next to him. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't even notice her until she said:
"Watchya thinking about?" He got a huge fright which was hilarious to Sophie.
"Just...what will happen today, you know? How Grady will react after Edaline talk to him."
"I've been thinking about exactly that," Sophie laughed. Keefe joined her until Sophie asked,
"How do you think Grady will react?"
"I...don't know...but not well." He seemed seriously worried. Sophie leaned in and hugged him. He immediately hugged her back.
"Whatever happens, we'll handle it together." They sat there, just cuddling until the sun was fully up. Sophie's stomach rumbled. She checked the time on her phone. It was six fourty five.
"We should probably go and have breakfast," Keefe suggested. Sophie nodded but neither of them moved, not wanting to ruin the moment.After another 15 minutes, Sophie finally decided to stand up. After they finished breakfast they went back to Townsville and waited for Edaline to call
I FINALLY GOT TO UPDATE!!! I'M SO HAPPY! I'm not going to be updating daily again yet but I'm going to get as much done as I can today but for now here's one more chapter than I expected!
