You sigh, finally standing up out of your chair in your classroom. You were a bit nervous, questioning yourself as to why you actually offered to talk with people you never met before. But you had told yourself that you were doing this to help Sugawara, and that's what fueled you to actually carry out your plan.

You walk out of your classroom and walk to the room you remembered Sugawara telling you was Nishinoya's class. You looked inside, not knowing which one was the boy you were looking for.

A short boy with spikey brown hair and a blonde streak came up to you, a smile on his face. "Can I help you? Are you looking for someone?"

You nod, giving a shy smile. "I'm looking for a boy named Nishinoya Yuu, I was pretty sure this was his classroom."

The boy's eyes widened, a blush spreading across his face. "That... that would be me. Why do you need to see me?"

You smile more confidently, proud to have found the boy you were looking for. "I wanted to talk to you about something important. Would you like to come somewhere else with me so we can talk?"

He nods, leaving his classroom and walking with you through the halls. "Is this, like, really happening? I'm not imagining that a pretty girl came to speak with me, am I?"

You shake your head, a quiet chuckle slipping past your lips. "This is really happening, Nishinoya-san. Oh, I'm L/n Y/n, by the way. I'm also a second year."

Nishinoya smiles wide, pride beaming within him. "Nice to meet you, Y/n-chan! You can call me Yuu, if you'd like."

"Ah, ok, Yuu. So what I needed to tell you was really important."

He holds up his hand. "Listen, anything you have to say is important. And don't feel nervous about this either. I won't bite. I'm actually pretty cool to be around, you can ask my best friend, Ryu. He's also a second year here."

"Yes, Tanaka, right. I know of him."

Nishinoya's eyes went wide. "You do?"

You nod. "I know everyone on the boys' volleyball team. Even the first years, now that I've been told about them."

"How do you know all of us?"

"Oh, your third year setter told me. I live next door to Sugawara Koushi. He's told me all about you guys."

His lips spread into a bigger smile. "And you wanted to talk to me based on what you've heard?" This boy was beyond excited.

And to be fair, he didn't know what this talk was gonna be about. If he was being honest, he thought he was about to receive a confession for you.

You nod, a small smile playing on your lips. "I was wondering... would you please go back to being on the team? You're an amazing libero, probably one of the best there ever was. And, I know your suspension from the team is up! It would make me and everyone on the team very happy to have you back."

The smile fell from the libero's face. "This was about the volleyball club?"

You nod, your smile stretching a bit wider. "Yes. I'm begging you, you have to go back to being the team's libero. They won't be as strong without you, they need you. Can you please go back to playing with all of them?"

"I already told the others I wouldn't go back unless Asahi was returning to being our ace."

"I know, and I plan to talk about it with him, too. I think I can convince him to rejoin as the ace. So, what do you say? Will you be their libero again?"

Nishinoya sighs. "Yeah, ok. I'll go back to being their libero.... On one condition."

You felt like collapsing right then and there. "Wh-what is it? I'm willing to do just about anything to get you back on the team."

You were about to regret saying that.

The short boy beamed. "Go to a cafe with me this weekend, and I'll be the permanent libero for Karasuno boy's volleyball club."

You smile, thinking that wasn't a terrible deal. "I'll do it! Thank you so much for agreeing to go back to being the libero! I really appreciate it, Yuu!"

He smiles at you. "Glad to reach an agreement with you, Y/n-chan!"

You two walk your separate ways. The libero was so proud of himself. He decided to go brag about the date he just scored with you to his best bro.

"Yo, Ryu!"

Tanaka looked over at the shorter boy. "What's up, Noya?"

Nishinoya beamed. "I got two pieces of good news."

"Ooo! What are they?"

"One: I'm coming back to the team."

"That's awesome!" Tanaka jumped with joy.

Nishinoya continued. "And two: I scored a date with a pretty second year girl. She apparently knows Suga-san. She begged me to go back to the team and agreed to go on a date with me!"

Tanka's jaw dropped to the floor. "Lucky! Maybe I'll ask Suga-san about her later!"

"I plan to ask about her today at practice! Come with me to learn about my weekend date!"
