You got home after having dinner with the team. You and the team cried that whole time, but you weren't finished crying. You left early, not waiting to walk home with Sugawara. You couldn't face him at the moment.

Your heart cracked. You were hoping to be able to finally confess your feelings for your childhood friend after the match. You had it all planned out. Once they won, you were going to run onto the court. You'd hug and kiss Sugawara in front of everyone, and tell him that you are in love with him.

You can't do that now. You have to be Oikawa's girlfriend until October 25th.

You collapsed onto your bed, sobbing into your pillow. You were too upset with how things turned out. You didn't know how you could face the team again after this.

They learned of your bet. They know what happened since they lost. They were probably blaming themselves. If they had been just a little better, maybe they would've won... then you wouldn't have to be Oikawa's girlfriend.

The guys were still together, Kiyoko walking with them.

Nishinoya sighed. "Damn it! I can't believe Oikawa would do something like that! He stole Y/n-chan from us!"

Sugawara spoke, no emotion in his voice. "I believe it. I was worried something like this would happen, and Y/n was already worried we'd lose. It's like she knew Oikawa had a plan to beat us."

Asahi looked at the setter. "What makes you say that, Suga?"

"She pulled me away before our match. She told me about the bet, and said she was scared Oikawa would take her first kiss because of that bet."

Daichi raised a brow. "What did you say to her?"

The third year setter kept his gaze at the ground. "Nothing, she didn't give me the chance to say anything. I just know, Oikawa isn't going to be her first kiss."

Kiyoko's eyes widened, the realization setting in. "You two kissed?"

Everyone froze, looking at the silver haired boy.

Sugawara nodded. "She pulled me close and kissed me, then ran off. She was determined to not let Oikawa have her first kiss, so she gave it to me. I didn't get the chance to ask her why she chose me. After the match, it was like she was avoiding me. Hell, she's not even here right now. You all saw her quickly leave the restaurant before we finished eating."

Kiyoko sighed. "Maybe... Y/n likes you and wanted you to be her first kiss."

His eyes widened. "That couldn't be the reason."

The manager sighed. "And what if I told you that really was the reason why she wanted you to be her first kiss?"

The team went silent.

Daichi spoke first. "I knew it! You did too, Asahi!"

The ace looked away. "Please don't drag me into this, Daichi."

Sugawara looked at his fellow third years. "So you all knew she liked me?"

Kiyoko nodded. "She told me after I made a guess."

The boy felt his heart crack. "Fuck! And now Oikawa might make her fall in love with him!" Tears spilled from his eyes.

The rest of the team went to comfort him, even Tsukishima and Kageyama. Though not all the members were good with this kind of thing, they wanted Sugawara to feel better.

You remained at home, not knowing what was going on with the team. You wondered how you were going to face them again at the next practice. More tears streamed down your face, hugging a stuffed animal while letting out your sobs.

"Koushi won't get to be my first and only boyfriend. I have to date Oikawa now. What if he takes my first time? What would I tell Koushi?"

You sobbed harder as your thoughts kept coming. You worried about what would happen between you and your best friend, now that you had to date his rival.

"What if he stops being my friend? What if he never talks to me anymore? What if he wants nothing to do with me, now that I'm someone else's girlfriend?"

Of course, Sugawara wasn't like that. He still loves you. He's determined to be with you one day. This is just a set back for him. He'd find a way to make you his, he just needed time.

Sugawara couldn't make a move while you're Oikawa's girlfriend, knowing nothing good would come of that. As he walked home, he stopped to look at your house. He wondered what you were doing. Were you calling Oikawa right now? Were you making dates with your new boyfriend?

He didn't know that you were crying, feeling heartbroken at the fact that you had to date someone that wasn't Sugawara Koushi. He walked to his house, heading straight for his bedroom. He looked out his window, looking right at the window that connected to your room. He lays down on his bed, facing his window.

You both fell asleep with thoughts of each other running through your heads. You both prayed that, one day, you'd get married to the one you actually love.
