The guys continued staring at the girl that was hiding behind you. Yachi was nervous, continuing to hide behind you. She didn't like the stares she was getting, it was making her even more anxious than she was before.

You let out a sigh. "Alright, stop staring. You're scaring the poor girl. Start introducing yourselves."

The silver haired boy smiled, walking over to you. "I'm Sugawara Koushi, one of the third years. It's nice to meet you, Yachi-chan."

The captain smiles. "Sawamura Daichi, I'm also a third year. I'm the captain of the team. Feel free to talk to me whenever you'd like."

The ace waved, being shy himself. "I'm Azumane Asahi. Nice to meet you. I'm also a third year."

Each boy gave their name and year. Hinata, Tanaka, and Nishinoya gave their positions as well, confusing Yachi since she knows nothing about volleyball.

The blonde girl looks at everyone, slowly coming out from behind you. "Y-Yachi H-Hi-Hitoka, of class 1-5. P-pleasure to meet you all."

You stood next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder gently. "Hitoka-chan is a little shy, so please don't overwhelm her with anything. Give her time to adjust. She just needs to get used to everything first."

Coach Ukai gained the boys' attention. "Come on, let's get back to practice!"

Yachi flinched beside you, whimpering.

You look at her with a smile. "Are you ok, Hitoka-chan?"

She nods, her body trembling. "I'll be fine. Just give me a bit of time."

"Of course. If you need anything, let me know. I'm here to help you. I can teach you about volleyball now, if you'd like?" When you see her nod, you begin to explain the fundamentals of the sport. You talk about positions, plays, and some of the other important details she might need to know about.

Yachi took in all of this information. "Thank you, Y/n-senpai. I don't know what I'd do if you weren't here with me."

You keep smiling at her. "Don't worry, Hitoka-chan. You'll be fine. Just come to me or Kiyoko-san if you ever need anything. We have more experience with managing the teach. We can show ya the ropes and help you adjust to being around all these guys. It's our job."

The short, blonde girl nodded. "Thank you again. Some of the guys look kinda scary."

"Trust me, they aren't scary. They're actually really sweet when you get to know them."

Kiyoko walked over to you two. "Hello, Hitoka-chan. I'm Shimizu Kiyoko, the third year manager for the team. It's nice to meet you, and I'm really glad that you agreed to come help out."

Yachi shakes her head. "It's nothing. I don't really have anything to do, outside of classes and homework. I have plenty of time to help you all out."

You look at Kiyoko. "She's the only person I could think of when it came to look for extra help. She's a great student, very organized. I have high hopes for her as a manager for the team. She'll do a great job, once she gets used to everything."

"Don't worry, Hitoka-chan. We're here to help you. Don't hesitate to come over and talk with us if you ever need anything." She gives a kind smile to the first year girl.

Yachi nods. "I'll do my best!"

Sugawara smiles, looking over at you getting along with the other girls. "I knew I could put all my trust in Y/n."

Daichi notices his friend staring at you. "Suga! Focus on the match! Stop staring at Y/n!"

This gained your attention. You looked over, being able to make eye contact with the silver haired boy before he quickly looks away. You watch as he focuses on playing volleyball with the rest of the team again. You let out a chuckle.

Kiyoko smirks. "You wish you were dating Sugawara instead of Oikawa, don't you, Y/n."

You don't even look at her. "Of course I do. I hate that I lost a bet to Oikawa and have to date him."

Yachi looked at you, eyes wide. "You're dating someone now, Y/n-senpai?"

You nod, still not looking at anyone other than your best friend. "I lost a bet and am forced to date someone from a different school. I actually have a thing for Sugawara Koushi, the third year with the silver hair."

The blonde girl looks where your eyes are focused. "I see. What do you like about him?"

"Everything." Your eyes remain focused on Sugawara. "He's so kind, loves eating whatever I make. He gives everything to whatever he loves. The way he plays volleyball, even knowing there are better players, it's amazing. He just never gives up. He won't stop until he gets what he wants. He's perfect."

Kiyoko chuckles. "She's been in love with him her whole life."

Yachi looks at you in awe. "It must be awful to date someone that's not him."

"It is, but at I least I made sure Koushi was my first kiss."
