You woke up, feeling an intense pain in your hand. You let out a somewhat loud cry of pain. This woke up the other managers.
Kiyoko rose up quickly. "What's wrong, Y/n?!"
You groan, looking at all the other managers. "The hand I cut yesterday. I really hurts. I don't think I'll be able to cook today."
Kaori sighs. "Let us take care of meal prep today. You need to take care of your hand."
You nod, glancing down at your bandaged hand. "Kiyoko, mind giving me a hand of changing the bandages?"
She stands up, grabbing the first aid kit in the room. "Stay still. I'll take care of it."
The disinfecting hurt quite a bit, causing you to cry out in pain once again. Yukie and Kaori had to hold you still, making sure that Kiyoko would be able to take care of your hand.
When it was all done, you looked at your freshly bandaged hand. "The guys aren't gonna be happy if they hear about this. Can you all promise to not say a word to any of them about how bad my hand really is?"
Yachi looked fearful. "But it's still bleeding pretty bad. Maybe we should let the coaches know."
"No! They're all gonna make a big deal of it. Let's just keep quiet. I can take care of it on my own. Please don't worry about it anymore."
The other girls nodded, remaining quiet. They were worried about you, but you seemed confident in being able to take care of your hand. They feel things should be fine. Kiyoko and Yachi silently agreed to do more of the manager work for the Karasuno team, in an attempt to help you with your hand.
You got out of bed, changing and making your way to the kitchen with all of the other managers. "Let's make a good breakfast."
"Yeah."
Kiyoko walked beside you. "Maybe you should rest for a little longer. You can use all of the rest that you can get with your hand being injured."
Yachi nodded. sticking close to the two of you. "What if it doesn't stop bleeding?"
"If it doesn't stop at all, I'll probably have to go to a hospital." You deadpanned.
Kiyoko sighed. "Just, don't let Sugawara find out. He'll freak out."

You sit down with the rest of the Karasuno team. "Morning, everyone."
Sugawara sits beside you. "Morning, Y/n. How'd you sleep?"
"Good. Though, waking up was a little rough."
He looks at your bandaged hand. He grabs it in his, giving it a somewhat hard squeeze.
You yelp. "Koushi! Why'd you do that?!"
Sugawara frowns. "Your hand is still bothering. I thought the food tasted a little different. You didn't make anything, did you?"
You stare at him with wide eyes. "How could you tell?"
He sighs. "I know you better than anyone else, Y/n. Even if you don't show it, I can tell when you're in pain. Take it easy today, ok."
You sigh, looking away from him. "Fine. It's scary how well you can tell when something's wrong with me."
"It comes in handy. I'm glad I can stop you before you hurt it worse."
"I was planning on taking things easy today anyways." You mumble.
Sugawara glances at you from the corner of his eye. "You better. I'm not gonna let you do anything if you don't take care of that cut."
You frown, looking down at your food. "You're so overprotective."
Daichi sighed, stopping this before it could escalate. "Suga just cares about you, L/n. He's looking out for you."
You look at the captain. "I know, but I can still take care of myself."
Asahi looked between you and the third year setter. "You sometimes do the same thing, Y/n. You always make sure he takes a break whenever he seems exhausted, then tell him how important it is that he takes care of himself."
Sugawara looks at you. "He's right, you know."
You sigh, looking back down at your food. "Well, I care about you. You don't need to push yourself too hard."
"Neither do you. I care too much to see you hurt yourself." A small smile spread on his face.
Kuroo walks over. "What's this? Is the married couple already having a little argument?"
You glare at the tall middle blocker. "Shut up, Kuroo."
He smirks. "Oh, I'm sorry. I was just looking out for the two of you. Marriage is such a delicate thing."
"Kuro, leave them alone. Focus on eating and getting ready for today's matches." Kenma appears, trying to get his friend to leave you alone.
You smile at the second year setter. "Thanks, Kenma. Good luck with your matches today."
He smiles at you. "Thanks. Also, your future husband is glaring at me."
You drop your jaw. "Kenma! Don't join in on them. And Koushi, stop glaring! you're being rude."
Kenma chuckles quietly. "See you later, Y/n." He starts walking away with Kuroo.
"See ya." You turn to the silver haired boy beside you. "You can stop glaring now, Koushi."
He looks at you. "Since when were you and Nekoma's setter close?"
You shrug, going back to your food. "We both got up early in the morning and hung out in the kitchen."
"Huh?!"
