You let out a sigh as the practice matches drew to an end for the day. "Man, that was exhausting."

Kiyoko smirked. "I bet. You and Sugawara's little outburst during the break seemed to drain you completely. You've been silent ever since."

You look at the ground, your face turning red. "Sh-shut up, Kiyoko. I really don't want to talk about that right now."

"Oh, maybe later then?" Tsukishima snickered.

"Not a word about it ever! Don't make fun of me, too, Tsukishima!"

Sugawara chuckles, looking over at you from where he stood beside the other third years. "I guess the break we had was a bit more eventful than the managers planned."

Daichi looked down at him. "You started it, Suga. If you hadn't started shouting your feelings, Y/n wouldn't have done the same."

Asahi nodded. "But I think she's pretty embarrassed about it now. It looks like no one is letting go of that."

Sugawara sighed. "Well, at least everyone hear knows that she's as good as mine. That should stop them from trying to go after her."

Just as the Karasuno third years were talking, a certain third year from Nekoma strolled over to you. He had a smirk on his face, ready to talk to you. You look at him when he stands right in front of you.

"That was quite the show you put on earlier." Kuroo's smirk grew wider.

Your cheeks flushed, you feeling embarrassed. "Shut up! I don't wanna talk about it."

Kuroo tipped his head to one side. "I mean, no one expected that to happen. You get yelled at to marry someone, then you end up yelling right back at him. It was so interesting, I almost forgot I was given watermelon."

Sugawara walked over you, pulling you closer to him. "Leave her alone, Kuroo."

The taller third year grinned. "Don't worry. I don't intend to steal her from you. Enjoy your honeymoon, you two." He waved, walking away from you two.

You looked at the ground, feeling even more embarrassed. "Seriously, they need to quit it."

The solver haired setter smiles at you. "I don't see the problem with it. They already know you'll be mine forever. Why are you so bothered by it?"

"It's embarrassing, and everyone wants to tease me for it. I should've just kept my mouth shut and walked away."

Sugawara frowns. "I would've been sad if you did that."

You look at him. "Well, maybe I'd be less embarrassed by it if I had. You really shouldn't be doing stuff like that so casually, and in front of a lot of people. I already have to deal with Oikawa doing stuff like that."

Sugawara looks around, then pulls you out of the gym. He takes you to a secluded place outside. It wasn't too close to the gyms, so it would be easy to talk about anything without other people being able to easily find you two.

You raise a brow at him. "Koushi, what are you doing?"

He takes a deep breath, then looks into your eyes. "Y/n. Everything I said earlier, I mean every word of it. I want to make you mine, someone that no one else can touch. I want you to be mine forever. I'm tired of pretending that I don't want you for the rest of my life. I don't care who finds out, I'm willing to throw everything else away if it means I'll be able to make you mine one day."

You feel your heart skip a beat from his words. "Koushi... nothing would make me happier than to be yours. But that's just not possible right now. I'm still Oikawa's girlfriend, even though I don't want to be. You can't just constantly put your feelings on me and expect me to react the way you want me to."

"I know, but I feel like I have to let you know my feelings. I really do want to marry you, no matter how soon it will be. I love you, Y/n."

You feel tears building in your eyes. "You don't even know how badly I want to keep hearing those words, even though I shouldn't."

He leans in closer to you. "I love you." He tilts his head slightly, planting a gentle kiss on your lips. "I'm willing to wait for you, no matter how long it takes. You will be mine, though. Come find me if you want to hear me say it again." He walks away, slowly turning away from you with a smile on his face.

You stand, frozen in place. You didn't know how to react from that. But that kiss, once again you felt the spark from kissing Sugawara. Something you had only felt with the Karasuno third year setter. You move your hand over your chest, grasping at you shirt.

"Koushi, I love you too."

Even though you knew you shouldn't act based on your emotions, a part of you really wanted to. You stopped yourself from doing that, though. You were still Oikawa's girlfriend and you would keep acting like it, even if you hated it.

You turn away from the spot where you and Sugawara kissed. You walk off to the kitchen, preparing to make dinner for all of the boys. You push what happened to the back of your mind, letting yourself get on with the night.

You weren't gonna cheat on Oikawa. You bottled up your feelings for your best friend, acting as if nothing had happened between you two today."
