As practice finishes up, Oikawa texts you.

Oikawa: Hey, Y/n-chan

You: Hey, Toru

Oikawa: How are you?

You: Good. You?

Oikawa: I miss you. What are you doing?

You: Our practice just finished up

Oikawa: Ooo, can I walk you home, then?

You: I don't think the team will like that

Oikawa: Too bad, I'm doing it. You're my girlfriend, so I'll do whatever I want. See you in a bit, Y/n-chan!

You: See you, Toru

You sigh, putting your phone in your pocket. "Yo, guys! Shittykawa is gonna be here to walk me home soon. Get into the club room, so there's no fight!"

The guys groan, reluctantly finishing with cleaning the gym quicker. They head off to their club room, where they decide to talk shit about Oikawa behind closed doors.

Sugawara glared. "I hate him. I don't want him touching Y/n. He's awful. He's only doing this shit to get under our skin."

Daichi sighed. "Calm down, Suga. You're already letting Oikawa get under your skin."

"See! That's how good he is at doing it! He's a horrible human being!" The third year setter nearly punched the wall in front of him.

Tanaka looked at the ground. "That asshole, he really planned on taking Y/n from the start."

Nishinoya nodded, agreeing with his buddy. "Oikawa needs to be taught a lesson! We should go out there and make sure he knows to leave our Y/n-chan alone!"

Asahi shook his head. "That doesn't sound like the best idea."

Daichi looked at all of the boys in the room. "We're not starting a fight."

Nishinoya glared. "Oikawa started it! We're just gonna finish it!"

"No one is fighting Oikawa. Calm down, all of you. None of us like this arrangement, but L/n herself is making an effort to keep the peace between us and Oikawa. Try to keep yourselves from doing something L/n wouldn't want." Daichi looked back over to his third year setter. "Suga, I know you're hating all of this, but try to relax. She doesn't really like him, she likes you. There's no real threat."

Sugawara was glaring at the wall. "There's always a threat with Oikawa around. He might try to steal every bit of her away from me. I can't let that happen."

Kageyama sighed. "If Oikawa has his heart set on having Y/n, he's gonna do whatever it takes to keep him."

Sugawara punched the wall. "Damn it!"

"Everyone, quiet! I see Oikawa and L/n!" Ennoshita whisper shouted to the other members of the team, having the door to the club room cracked open and looking outside of it.

The rest of the team gathered at the door, opening it wider so everyone could see you and Oikawa.

The brunette from Aoba Johsai chuckled, attempting to hold one of your hands in his. "So, Y/n-chan, has anything exciting happened?"

"I brought a first year girl to the team, she's a manager now." You tried not to look at the boy beside you, knowing you had news he wasn't going to like.

"That sound nice, now there's three of you managers. Must be nice to have a lot of help, like that."

You nod. "Yeah."

He frowns. "There's something bothering you. Talk to me."

You let out a sigh. "The thing is, I can't go on any dates with you soon. I know you're not gonna like it, so I didn't want to say anything."

Oikawa stares at you. "And why can't you go on any dates with me?"

"I'll be going to Tokyo this weekend with the team, then we'll be going to Tokyo again for a week."

He raises a brow. "And why is that?"

"We have training camps with teams in Tokyo." You kept your eyes focused on the ground in front of you.

Oikawa sighed. "Fine. I don't like that you'll be so far away from me, but there's nothing I can do. Don't enjoy yourself too much without me." He winked at you.

You chuckle. "We'll see. I'll just be doing my manager duties the entire time, I don't know how much fun there will actually be in Tokyo."

He shrugged. "Don't know, but if you have too much fun, you won't miss me."

You knew you wouldn't miss him either way. "I guess."

"The whole time you're away, remember to text me when you wake up and before you go to bed. I'll also be checking up on you throughout the day, so make sure to actually check your phone whenever you get the chance. Oh, and don't let any of those Tokyo boys flirt with you. Let them know you're in a relationship. Got it?"

You nod. "Yes, I understand, Toru."

Oikawa smiled, holding you hand and giving it a light squeeze. "Good. Let's get you home now, Y/n-chan."

You two walk too far away, the boys of the Karasuno volleyball club being unable to hear you two anymore. They sigh, closing the door and going back to getting changed.

Sugawara held a glare on his face. "I hope he gets his heart broken by Y/n when this bet ends."
