You got off of Sugawara's back when you two were fairly close to your houses. The boy keeps his eye on you while walking, ready to catch you if you suddenly passed out.

You let out a sigh. "This is really nice, Koushi. A nice stroll at night together. Its so calm and relaxing. We should go on night walks together more often."

He chuckles, nodding his head slightly. "Maybe we should. Maybe we should also take more time to look at the night sky when we're outside."

You look up, seeing the beautiful night sky. "It's amazing. Sometimes, you really just need to look up at the night sky. It's like all our problems go away."

"Yeah. And it's nice that we finally have the chance to do stuff like this together. I feels like forever since we've walked under the night sky and really paid attention to it."

"We were unusual 5 year olds. We liked looking up at the night sky instead of catching fireflies."

Sugawara chuckled. "What are you talking about. You caught one and showed it to me. Then, you thought it liked you because it wouldn't get off of you. You tried asking your parents if you could keep it as a pet, and cried when they said no." He started laughing more.

You groaned, heat building in your face from the embarrassment. "I wish you didn't remember that."

He couldn't contain his laughter. "You acted more like a little boy than I did!"

"Shut up, Koushi! I don't want to think of that!"

"Remember when your parents got you dresses for your 6th birthday and you tried throwing them out? You really didn't want to wear anything too girly. You preferred my hand me downs."

You look away from him, remembering how you were when you were younger. "Let's not talk about that. It's embarrassing. Can't we just focus on present day stuff? Like your match tomorrow."

The silver haired boy calmed down, letting out breaths to stop laughing. "Fine, fine. I'm going to get put on the court tomorrow and crush Oikawa."

You raise a brow. "You're confident about that."

"I know I can do it. I may not be as talented as Kageyama, but I have strengths on the court that he doesn't have. If things get bad, I could always get subbed in. And I really want to take down Oikawa with my own two hands. After what he pulled, getting you to go on a date with him, I really want to put him in his place."

Your eyes widened as you two arrived at your house, walking inside after you unlocked the door. "Wow, you're really holding a grudge against Oikawa. All he did was trick me to go on a date with him. It wasn't that bad, and he agreed to just be friends with me in the end."

He huffed out a breath, taking his shoes off and walking further into your house with you. "I have a feeling that he might try going on more dates with you. I have a feeling he'll be determined to make you his girlfriend in no time, or he'll try to, at the very least."

You sigh, walking into your room and starting to pack a bag with clothes and other necessities for the night and tomorrow morning. "Koushi, I've made it clear that I don't want to be Oikawa's girlfriend. He's not the kind of guy i would ever want a relationship with. He can try all he wants, but it won't work."

Sugawara smiled at this. "Good. I care about you and want to see with someone that will actually treat you well. Heck, if you wanted to be with Nishinoya, I think I could accept that better. He'd be loyal to you, treat you like a goddess..." He trailed off, feeling jealous with how good a boyfriend Nishinoya could be.

You shook your head, knowing that the only person you'd like that way was currently in your room with you. "Nishinoya is a nice guy, but I think he's too loud and energetic for me. I'd like a quieter guy, hopefully one with a but more intelligence than our libero."

He smiled at that, knowing he could fit that description. "You know, that knocks a few guys on the team out of the running."

"You're right. Have you finally figured out that I'm not interested in the other guys on the team?"

He huffed out a breath. "That only takes out Hinata, Kageyama, Tanaka, and Nishinoya. The rest of the team is still a possibility for you."

You sigh, grabbing your bag and walking back to the door. "Koushi. I have no interest in the guys on your team. Trust me on this one."

"What about guys on another team?"

"No." You walk out of your front door with the boy, locking your house back up.

Sugawara starts walking over to his house, you following him. "Ok. But what about guys not on a volleyball team?"

"Are you really gonna talk about this all night?"

He shrugs. "I'm just curious to know what kind of guy you like."

"Don't worry about it. Just shower, so we can eat and go to bed."

His mother walks into the room. "Dinner's ready now. Why don't you two eat before going to shower?"

You two agree, sitting down at the table to eat. You both silently eat your food, hurrying to go shower. When you two are clean, you say goodnight to each other before going to your own rooms, getting some rest for the day ahead of you.
