You wake up in the morning, your alarm going off. You get out of the bed, looking around the familiar room. But it wasn't yours. You remembered you had stayed the night at the Sugawara house, a smile spreading your lips as you thought about how your crush was just across the hall from the room you were currently in.

You go to your bag and quickly change into your Karasuno track suit. You feel the familiar black fabric against your skin, leaving the jacket open to reveal your white t-shirt. You grab your bag, after stuffing the clothes you wore yesterday and last night inside it. You walk out of the room.

Mrs. Sugawara was in the kitchen, a smile on her face as she made breakfast. "Good morning, Y/n-chan. How'd you sleep?"

"Morning. It was better than the sleep I've been getting back at home."

"You can always spend the night here. You don't have to be alone at home."

You smile at her. "Thank you. I might be taking you up on that offer. I might just leave spare clothes here."

She chuckles. "Give me your bag, those can be the first bits of clothes we keep for you here."

You hand the bag over to her. "Fine. I'll have to bring other clothes over, though."

Sugawara woke up, walking right into the kitchen after changing into his track suit. He smiled when he saw you. "Morning."

"Morning." You look at him, a small smile playing on your lips.

You two quickly eat breakfast, thanking his mother for making it and letting her know it was good. You and Sugawara grab your things, and set out for the school.

The silver haired boy looks at you. "Everything alright, Y/n?"

"Yeah. Why wouldn't it be?"

He sighed. "We're going against Oikawa and the rest of Seijoh today. Are you fine with it?"

"Of course. I want to see Oikawa lose today. You guys have to win."

Sugawara smiles. "We will."

A comfortable smile spreads between you two as you continue your walk. You, of course run into Asahi and Daichi on your way. You all share greetings and walk together, having small conversations about the expectations of this match. You all soon arrive at the school, arriving before the rest of the team. You four waited with the coach and Takeda for the others to get there, Kiyoko meeting up with you soon after.

Within minutes, the rest of the Karasuno team showed up. You all get on the bus and head over to the stadium.

Once you get there, you get separated from the team when Oikawa calls you over in front of everyone.

The tall brunette smiles at you. "Hey, Y/n-chan."

You wave at him. "Hey, Oikawa. What's up?"

"Just wanted to let you know there shouldn't be any hard feelings between us when I beat your team."

You raise a brow at him. "You mean there won't be any hard feelings when Karasuno wins today, right?"

Oikawa's eyes widened. "No. I'm saying Aoba Johsai will be winning the match today. Why would you think otherwise?"

"My team is strong, they'll beat you."

"Oh? Let's make a bet, then. How about, if my team wins, you go on a romantic date with me and act as my girlfriend for a month following the match."

"And if I win?"

Oikawa shrugs. "What would you want?"

You think about it, then you remember something from last night. "I want you to bow in front of the entire Karasuno team and admit that they're the better team. Then say your not as good a setter as Sugawara Koushi."

Oikawa raises a brow. "Not Tobio-chan?"

You shake your head. "No. Koushi will be beating you today."

He chuckled. "So Tobio-chan won't be on the court?"

"He will. We just might sub him out for Koushi. And Koushi will win against you."

"Oh, so confident. What, you like this other setter?"

Your face turns red, you look away. "Shut up. Don't say that."

Oikawa had a surprised smile on his face. "I see. That's how it is. Then, I'm making sure to crush him. You'll be mine at the end of the day. Forget being my girlfriend for one month, you'll have to ac as my girlfriend until the prefecture qualifiers for the nationals."

Your eyes widened. "Those qualifiers don't start until the end of October."

"Exactly. You'll be my girlfriend for 4 months. All of summer, that means summer dates during break."

You sighed. "That'll only happen when the team isn't busy with volleyball."

He smiles. "Of course. I'll gladly work around your schedule, but you can't use volleyball as an excuse to get out of all dates. You'll actually need to go on a few with me."

You look away, towards your team, at Sugawara. You wanted your childhood friend to be your first boyfriend, real or not. "Fine. You're on. You're going to be crying when my team beats you."

"Oh, I bet I will. But don't worry, I'll make sure your first kiss is special." Oikawa winks at you.

Your eyes widened and you turned away, heading back to your team. You grab your silver haired friend, pulling him to a secluded location.

He looks at you, concern in his eyes. "What's wrong, Y/n. You never pull me away like this."

You look into his eyes, yours holding tears. "I made a bet and might lose my first kiss to someone I don't want to give it to."

His eyes widened. "What? With who?"

"Oikawa." You sniffle. "If the team loses to Aoba Johsai, I have to act as his girlfriend until the prefecture qualifiers in October. He said he'll take my first kiss, but I don't want to give it to him."

"Why would you make a bet with Oikawa?!"

"I told him how much I believed you'd win."

Sugawara sighed. "Ok. I see. Well, I'll be fighting with everything I've got."

Quickly, you put your hands on both sides of his face. You pull him in for a kiss, keeping your teary eyes closed. He watches with wide eyes as a tear rolls down your cheek. You let him go, turning away from him. He watches as you walk away.

"She gave her first kiss to me."
