You looked around your immediate area, not being able to spot the team. You've been running around the building the preliminary matches for the inter-high for a few minutes. You had gotten separated from the team when Hinata stopped feeling so well and ran to a bathroom. You were running around in an attempt to find the boy, having been asked by Takeda. You couldn't find the first year, desperately trying to find that familiar tuft of orange hair.

Instead, you accidentally bumped into someone. You were about to fall, but they wrapped an arm around your hip, their other hand grabbing one of your arms.

"I'm so sorry!" You kept your eyes shut, not yet seeing who you bumped into.

He chuckled. "No need to say sorry. But, are you ok? You didn't get hurt, did you?"

You shake your head, opening your eyes to look at the person that prevented you from falling. "No, I'm fine. Thank you." You saw a boy with chocolatey brown hair and matching brown eyes.

He gives you a charming smile. "It's no problem. I'm glad you're not hurt. Why were you in such a hurry?"

"I'm a manager for one of the volleyball teams here. One of our players went running off, and I'm trying to find him. I seem to have gotten lost myself."

"That's a shame. I can help you find your team, if you need."

You gave him a grateful smile. "I'd appreciate that, thank you. Oh... um, who are you?"

His eyes widened slightly, surprised that you didn't know who he was. "Oikawa Toru. I'm the setter for Aoba Johsai volleyball club."

You smile, holding out a hand for him to take. "L/n Y/n, manager for the Karasuno boys' volleyball club."

Oikawa's eyes widen as he shakes your hand. "Karasuno? I don't remember them having two managers."

"I joined recently. Wait, you've met the team before."

The brunette nods. "I had a practice match against them before. So, which member are you looking for?"

You hold you hand up to Hinata's height. "Hinata, he's about this tall with orange hair."

"Oh, chibi-chan is lost?"

You nod. "He ran off since he wasn't feeling too well." You get a text from Kiyoko, saying that they found Hinata and you can return to the group. "Ah, he's been found."

"Well, that's good. I'm glad no one from your team got lost. Let me help you back to them."

"Thank you so much, Oikawa-san."

Oikawa smiles at you. "It's no problem at all, Y/n-chan. This isn't a good place for a pretty girl like yourself to get lost in. The least I can do is help you find your way back to your team."

You smile as you walk beside the older boy.

"Oikawa! What are you doing?!" A voice calls out from behind you two, causing you both to turn around and face the owner.

Oikawa chuckles nervously, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh, Iwa-chan. I ran into this girl and am-"

Iwaizumi glared at his teammate. "Are you really flirting with a girl right now?"

"No! It's not like that Iwa-chan! She's a new manager for Karasuno and got lost! I'm just trying to help her find her team!"

The spiker softens his gaze, looking at you. "This true?"

You nod. "Oikawa-san said he'd help me find my team since I got separated from them."

"I see. I'll walk with the two of you. How did you get lost and separated from your team, anyways?"

"Hinata-kun ran off and I was looking for him. The team found him, but now I need to find them."

Iwaizumi nodded. "I see. Sorry to hear that. What's your name?"

"L/n Y/n. I'm a second year at Karasuno high school, and recently joined as a manager for the boys' volleyball club."

Oikawa nodded, still worried that his friend was going to hit him. "I was just helping her out, Iwa-chan! She nearly fell and I caught her. I wasn't trying to flirt with her."

"If you say so, Shittykawa. L/n, do you know where your team should be?"

You shake your head. "No clue."

Oikawa stopped moving. "Found em." He points in the direction of your team.

You sigh with relief. "Thank you both for helping me find them!" You bow to them before turning to your team.

Oikawa grabbed your arm, an idea popping into his head. "Well, hello there, Karasuno. It looks like I found a little something you lost." He pushes you towards them slightly, still holding onto your arm.

Tanaka and Nishinoya glare at him. "Get your arm off of her!"

Iwaizumi hit the taller boy, making him release you. "We found your manager while walking around. Try not to get separated again. See you, L/n." He turns around, pulling Oikawa with him.

"Thank you again, Iwaizumi-san, Oikawa-san."

Iwaizumi waves at you, continuing to walk away with his teammate, who was whining as he got pulled away from you.

You turn to look at your team, a small smile on your face as you see Hinata is with them. "I'm so glad you found the team, Hinata-kun."

He smiles at you. "Yeah, sorry for causing you trouble."

Sugawara raises a brow. "You ran into Oikawa?"

You nod. "I bumped right into him and he offered to help me look for you guys."

Kageyama glared in the direction Oikawa had disappeared to. "I'm surprised he actually helped instead of flirting with you."

You blink, confused by why the guys were so angry all of a sudden. "What's with the tense atmosphere?"

Kiyoko leaned over to whisper in your ear. "The guys don't like Oikawa or the Aoba Johsai team."

"I see. Well, let's not worry about that right now. We have matches to get ready for!"

The guys smiled, getting pumped for their matches. "Yeah!"
