Aiden shook his head and adjusted his expression, “Really did she?”

Raven simply nodded his head

Aiden suddenly got angry and hit his father in his shoulder, “Why did you allow her to do that daddy? Men should be the one to propose to the lady”

Raven blinked his eyes and looked at his son wondering who taught his son such nonsense

Somewhere far away Alex sneezed in his sleep

“What do you want me to do now?” he asked his son

“When are you going to marry her?”

“Tomorrow”

Aiden widened his eyes, “Thats too soon”

Raven raised his brows, “Should I tell her to postpone it”

Aiden immediately shook his head in denial, “What if she changes her mind and refuses to marry you. Then all my acting skills will go in vain”

“Relax, we are only going to register our marriage tomorrow. Wedding will be held later”

“Hmm. Then that’s fine. I will plan something later” Aiden giggled and hugged his father’s neck.

“Daddy, I am going to have a mother” his laughter echoed through the walls of the room

Raven chuckled and patted his little butt. Aiden was happy so he didn’t mind his father’s unruly act at all and allowed him to pat his precious butt a few more times.

After applying medicines to his son’s wound, Raven tucked him to bed and exited the room. He made his way to his own room and took a shower. He wrapped himself in a bath towel and moved to his wardrobe to get a fresh towel to dry his hair.

His eyes unknowingly fell at the last corner where an exquisite white box has been sitting on the shelves for a long time now. He hesitated for a moment but still took the box and opened it to reveal a beautiful pink diamond ring with a silver band.

His rough fingers caressed the surface of the ring, he looked at it deeply with mysterious emotions flowing through his eyes. He sighed deeply and placed it back inside the box and closed it.

“It's time to get rid of you” he gave one last look at the box and threw it inside the bin nearby

He knew, holding onto the past will lead him nowhere. He is a father now and wants the best for his son. Siren may not be the best choice but he knows she will not hesitate to sacrifice herself to protect his son.

He could tell that by the way she looked at his son. Like he is someone providing the very light in her dark world just like him.

When the morning arrived, Raven and Aiden finished their breakfast and drove to the shed. Aiden was adamant in going along with him and took leave from the school in the name of recovering from the injury.

When they arrived at the entrance of the shed, they saw a shiny black car parked at the front. Raven frowned, already guessing the owner of the car and released a helpless sigh. Aiden unbuckled from the seat and dashed towards the lobby.

He saw his grandfather seated at the couch and greeted him respectfully, “Great grandpa”

Conan smiled at his great grandson and told him to take a seat, “My good boy, How are you feeling now?”

He already heard everything about the incident in the school from his informant. He knows his grandson should deal with it, but from his side he already cut off twenty percent of his fund to the Imperial academy.

“I am feeling better now” he said and turned to the side to see Alex emerging out of the workshop

“Grandpa” Aiden called him loudly jumped down from the couch and ran towards Alex to hug his leg

Alex, who saw his favourite little boy hugging his leg, melted from his cuteness. He lifted him in his arms and turned to smirk at Conan.

See, now I am his most favourite Grandfather.

Conan scowled at him but didn’t bother to fight with him. He saw his grandson entering the shed and walked towards him with the help of his wooden cane.

“Grandfather” Raven greeted him and bowed to him slightly. He respects his grandfather the most. He was the one who took care of him after his parents passed away.

Conan looked at the boy in front of him. He had grown into a powerful and respectable man. He remembered the day when he held him in his arms. His little fingers grabbed his hand tightly and giggled at him unaware of his parent’s death.

Conan patted his shoulder, “Congrats”

Raven nodded at him. He didn’t ask how he found out about it, he knew even though his grandfather handed everything to him he still had his own power and people behind him.

He then turned to greet Alex who greeted him back with a cold face. His reluctance in marrying his daughter to him was evident in his face.

When they talked among themselves they heard a bike sound and they all turned to see in the direction. Siren got down from the bike and removed her helmet. Everyone was shocked at her attire. Alex rubbed his eyes twice to see that he is not imagining things.

Raven couldn’t help but grinned at her
