Coming out of the bar Siren went towards her bike, her footsteps slowed down seeing Raven leaned on her seat, while holding his phone in one hand and another inside his pocket. Dim light from the phone directly shone on his face highlighting his sharp and flawless features
He is…. handsome, Siren admitted in her heart with a straight face.
Hearing the footsteps, Raven who was busy texting to his annoying brat of son closed his phone and put inside his suit.
“Mr. Raven” Siren greeted him even though she wished to leave without his notice.
“Siren” he greeted her back with his deep baritone voice.
Siren furrowed her eyes hearing him calling her with familiarity.
“Do you need any help MR .... Raven?” She emphasises the MR part in order to remind him that he called her without formalities.
“Nope, I don't need your help but just a ride back to my home” Raven grinned showing his striking set of thirty-two teeth.
“Oh! I wish you good luck in getting a ride” Siren, who is pretending not to get any hints at all, started her bike wishing to go as far as possible from this high androgen specimen.
“Should I rephrase my words, Siren?” Raven turned off the bike putting his large hands over the key prevented her from starting the bike. He leaned towards her and closed the distance between them, his breath directly fell on her lips,
“I need a ride from you”
Siren gritted her teeth and created some distance between them, “What happens with your car?”
“Run out of gas” he replied nonchalantly.
“What about your friend?” Siren questioned him as she is sure that she saw that player tech boy Hardin Spencer with him.
“OH,him. He got some midnight business”
Siren stared at him silently for a minute without saying anything.
“Sigh! Aiden must be starving himself to accompany his dad for dinner” Raven said in a pitiful tone.
“Tch...tch, A poor boy of four” Raven shakes his head in disapproval.
Shameless, thought Siren
“Fine. Hope on”
“Gladly” he smiled and hopped on the bike, but soon he regretted his decision, as he didn't know where to put his hands.
He had ridden the bike before but never been seated at the back. He saw the lean and dainty waist of the women in front of him, but not wanting to be abandoned on the road he silently held the rear of the back seat.
His large figure cast a shadow on the small women in the front, making it almost comical.
He brings his face to the sideline and whispered to her in thick voice, “Let’s ride”
Siren’s grip on the clutch tightened as the blood rushed towards her neck, she controlled her emotions and accelerated her bike towards the Grey’s mansion.
When Hardin, who had finished his wailing about the unfortunate events of the day came out of the bar arrived to this scene, his eyeballs almost burst out of his socket,
“Should I schedule an eye checkup along with a fertility checkup?
He finally concluded that alcohol must have caught up to his head.
On the other side, Raven who had seated behind Siren silently stared at the back of her head. If he could, he would make a hole and find out how she found that he was involved in the underground.
But that’s fine, he is going to take his own sweet time. Afterall it is not easy to get such an amusing prey. At the thought of thrill a dark glint passed through his eyes which went unnoticed by Siren who was busy in planning how to throw him under the bus without evidence.
Just like that the hunter and huntress were busy laying their own traps to hunt each other, but it is uncertain who is hunted by whom.
