"You look like an angel." Lucia squeals while we both look at me in the mirror.
I smile to myself seeing how beautiful I am. I never thought I would be standing in front of a mirror wearing a stunning white dress with a long veil, only a few minutes away from marrying the love of my life.
The dress is a simple and classy floor length gown that was custom made with lace. My makeup is simple but glamorous. My hair is styled in a neat bun with the long, lovely veil attached, and of course, I am wearing a nice pair of heels, in the color white. I make a gorgeous bride.
"I never thought I would get to do this." I speak softly to myself, but Lucia clearly hears me and gives me a tender grin in the mirror.
"You're the most beautiful bride. I always dreamed of seeing you like this, and it is just as beautiful as I imagined it." She tells me, tears welling up in her eyes at once.
I smile as I turn around and hold out my arms to her. My little sister doesn't waste a second to hug me.
"I'm sorry for crying so much on your special day, Catalina, but I'm just incredibly proud of you. I love you so much and all I have ever wanted was to see you happy, the way you are now. I'm so happy for you and how far you have come. I truly wish you nothing but so much love and happiness forever, Cat. You are deserving of all this and more." Her words get me, but I have to hold back tears.
"I love you more, hermanita. Thank you for being so sweet and loving to me. Your love and support have always meant so much to me, and I thank you because if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have met Silas."
She pulls away with a smile, her light green eyes sparkling with happiness and tears. "He loves you. I know he will make you and my nephew very happy."
"He will." I nod.
To not ruin our makeup any further, I choose to shift the topic. "I have to tell you now that you look gorgeous."
She smiles, gazing down at her light green gown, which accentuates the color of her stunning eyes. "Thank you, but you're the most beautiful of all."
I roll my eyes with a small laugh as there is a soft knock on the door. Lucia opens and my father and Orion enter.
Orion appears very prepared to accompany me down the aisle. He's already in his tuxedo and his hair is neatly combed. He is also wearing one of the expensive watches Silas got him. Additionally, there is a small piece of pink hydrangea in the small pocket of his suit jacket.
He immediately gives me a big hug, which I don't hesitate to return. "You look very handsome, my love."
"And you are so beautiful, mama. Like always." After a long hug, he steps back to examine me more closely.
I can tell he is really excited and happy by the look on his face.
"You look perfect, Catalina." My father speaks to get my attention.
