Chris pov...

Diner is amazing. I look at Kate and smile... "Tastes great, sweetheart...." I say and she smiles. But i notice that she is barely eating herself pushing the food around on her plate... "You dont like it?" I ask and she sighs... "I do... I think... I always loved lasagna... But somehow i dont feel like it..." She whispers blushing and i chuckle... "I think it is the pregnancy, sweetheart..." I say and she sighs again... She sits up straight and takes a bite of her food... "Sweetheart, we can order you something if you want. You dont have to eat it..." I say but she shakes her head... "No, it is fine..." She says and i nod... She takes some salade and puts it on her plate and i follow her lead...

"This really is a nice surprise... You look so beautiful..." I say and her face lights up... "You really like it?" She asks looking at little unsure and i smile and nod. "I love it, sweetheart..." I say and take another bite of food... "I thought it would be a nice date kind of thing..." She says with the biggest smile on her face... "It really is... I am sorry we never go out..." I say feeling a little guilty and she smiles and puts her hand over mine... "Dont be... I understand... Besides, this is nice. Just the two of us... All the privacy in the world..." She says winking at me and i turn bright red... God this woman does things to me no other woman ever could... I am so lucky to have her back in my life again and i will die before i let her get away again. Not only does she things to me but her understanding sometimes astounds me... And now we are going to have a baby... A little mix between her and i... It is like all my dreams have come true... Well, the only thing that is missing is her being my wife... But i dont think she is ready for that... Or at least we need to have a conversation about it... But not today... Lets first breach the topic of her staying to live with me... I dont want her to ever move out...

"How was your day?" She asks smiling and i sigh... "It was okay... But i missed you..." I whisper and she blushes... "Missed you to..." She says and i smile... "How was your day? Did you enjoy some alone time?" I ask and she shakes her head... This i dont like... She seems sad and i feel this pang in my chest. 

"I noticed that all the curtains are closed..." I say and she nods... "Yeah... I didn't feel really comfortable with the big windows." She says and takes another bite... "Oh, sweetheart... The windows are privacy windows... You can't look in from the outside..." I say and she shrugs her shoulders... "I feel more comfortable with the curtains closed..." She says and i smile... "Okay..." I say not wanting to make a big deal of it. I want her to be comfortable and if she needs the curtains closed for that than that is fine. 

"Do you stay here often?" She asks as we continue our dinner and i shake my head. "Only when i need to be in town for work." I say and i am curious as to why she asks... "You dont like it here?" I ask taking a shot in the dark and i apparently hit the nail right on the head. She looks at her food and blushes... I take her hand in mine, and she looks up... "It is okay if you dont... What do you need to be comfortable here?" I ask and she takes a deep breath... "I dont want to sound ungrateful or spoiled..." She whispers and now i am confused... 

"You are not..." I say and she blushes... "I dont know what it is about this house... It is beautiful... But..." She says but stops talking... I give her a reassuring smile... "Cold..." She says and i look at her confused... "You were cold?" I ask and she shakes her head... "Not that kind of cold..." She says and takes a deep breath... "I dont know... The house feels cold, there is no nice cozy atmosphere... It doesn't feel like you at all... It is so big and empty... I just like your home in Boston more... That feels more like home..." She says looking all guilty and i smile... My home in Boston feels like home to her and that makes me so happy. "It is okay, sweetheart. I understand. I just never put much thought in this place. I hired someone to decorate everything... I didn't mind as it got everything i needed and i never spend much time here..." I say and she nods... "You can change whatever you like..." I say smiling and she looks at me shocked making me chuckle. 

"I... I... I dont need to... We are just here for two weeks..." She whispers and i take her hand bring it to my mouth and kiss it... "I dont care... I want you to be comfortable. Even if we are just here for a day... Besides we will be here in the future again, so go shopping... Buy anything you like so this place feels more like a home..." I say and she tears up... "I didn't mean it like that..." She whispers and i smile and kiss her hand again... "I know, sweetheart. But i want you to..." I say and she blushes... 

"Maybe just some rugs... For in the sitting area..." She whispers and i smile... "Whatever you want, sweetheart..." I say and she smiles. To see her smile like that makes my day and i stand up and kiss her catching her off guard... But she melts into the kiss and i smile into the kiss as she puts her hands in my neck and almost pulls me over the table... 

"Are you, dessert?" I mumble into the kiss, and she nods smiling before kissing me again... I move around the table never breaking the kiss and i pull her up and into my arms... "God you look gorgeous..." I whisper and she blushes.  I kiss her again and she moans into the kiss... I deepen the kiss, and she melts into me. Her body pressed against mine sends my body in overdrive... I let my hands glide down her back until they found their goal. Her perfect ass... I give it a squeeze, and she lets out a soft moan.
