Namura Kashima is a former member of JMSDF's Special Forces unit, Special Boarding Unit (SBU). He joined the unit to follow the footsteps of his mother, Major Himeko Kashima. Despite his siblings, Haruto and Sakura, chose a different life at Osaka, a civilian life, their family always supported the both of them and so Namura, Haruto and Sakura loved deeply their brother. One day, a team of the Inner Circle attacked Osaka, Haruto and his girlfriend were among the victims. Saddened and furious for the death of his loved brother, Namura swore to help hunt down Makarov and his associates, but at the same time, Namura promised his parents and sister that he won't die by stating that he was too stubborn to die. It was then that the Walker brothers recruited Namura to the G.H.O.S.T. and he was given the codename: Unzien.
