A former british SBS who was dishonorably discharged for murdering 40 civillians. Beckett was raised at Dover, where he once lived a happy life with his parents and sister, but lost them at the age of 18. His uncle took Edward in, however he never recovered from the trauma. He joined SBS, but all his teammates bullied him, he never winned their respect and his uncle refused to help Edward, stating that he was none of business anymore. One day, he had enough and went berserk. He killed all the bully teammates, 40 civillians and his own uncle. Then he ran away from London. Ever since then, Beckett is heartless and cruel. Rorke recruited him and Beckett became Task Force Predator's Field Commander. He's Merrick's nemesis. Beckett states that both him and Merrick like winning, but Merrick counters that they are nothing alike, because Merrick doesn't target civillians.
