Applying for the Special Forces, Jose Ramirez was noticed by then-Second Captain Diego Ordaz who encouraged him to apply for the Cuerpo de Fuerzas Especiales. After passing the selections, he joined the Los Vaqueros, same squad of Ordaz, and was given the nickname "Ninja", for using a mask, dark sunglasses and his ability with the shurikens and his katana. He became an expert in clandestine tradecraft, focused on sabotage, ambushes, and infiltrations into denied areas and hazardous environments. His expertise and abilities make Ninja the most feared operator of Los Vaqueros and an equal to Hawk and Blade. He's a friend of Juan Bernardo, Ramon Parra and Irene Vargas.
