In the school hallway, the bionic trio was talking to their best friend.

- "It's summer break, soon. I can't wait!" Bree clapped her hands.

- "Me too!" Maddie replied. "The summer with Leo and Tasha are amazing. When Tasha and my mom aren't working, we spend all day at the beach." She explained, excited.

- "Really?" Chase asked.

- "Yeah, we built sand castles, we swim, we eat TONS of ice cream, we have picnics." The alien girl explained.

I hate being in a swimsuit. She thought.

I hope I won't look as scrawny, as Adam and Bree say, in swim shorts. He thought.

- "That sounds like fun." Adam grinned.

- "Yeah, but I hope they have sugar-free ice creams." The genius boy answered.

- "Seriously?" The bionic girl rolled her eyes.

- "Yes!" The youngest Davenport exclaimed. "I don't want to eat too much sugar."

- "Don't worry, Chase. There are sugar-free flavors." The genius girl smiled. "I love a lot of ice creams flavors, but my favorite will always be vanilla."

Vanilla is Mads favorite ice cream flavor, noted. The genius boy smirked.

- "I'm gonna try every ice cream flavor!" The tall guy exclaimed.

- "No doubt." Maddie laughed.

I love her laugh. Chase smiled.

- "Listen up, space-fillers!" Perry walked in and stopped in the middle of the hallway. The students walked closer to their principal. "This is Emergency Preparedness Week. An emergency drill can happen at any time. So when the alarm sounds, you must evacuate the building in an orderly fashion. Like cattle, if cattle had acne and braces and a future filling up my gas tank." She laughed and walked away.

- "Oh, man! I wish I had Bree's super-speed!" The oldest Davenport said. Maddie rolled her eyes and pushed the students, around the siblings, away. "Because you do not want to be stuck walking behind cows in an emergency, trust me on that!" He sighed.

- "You would trade your super-strength for Bree's super-speed?" The youngest asked, in disbelief. "Man, if I had your strength, I'd just run out of the building juggling those cows."

Why would you want strength instead of intelligence? The alien thought, from the opposite side of the hallway.

- "Yeah, and if I had your super-intelligence, I'd have walked away from this conversation thirty seconds ago." The Davenport girl replied.

- "Hey, you know what would be awesome? If you guys took out your bionic chips and switched your abilities!" Leo said, excited.

This isn't gonna well. The Matthews girl shook her head.

- "Why can't we?" The genius boy asked.

- "I call your super-smarts!" Bree exclaimed.

- "I call your super-speed!" Adam yelled.

- "I call your super-strength!" Chase replied.

- "I call good looks and charisma!" The Dooley boy replied. "Oh, too late. Already got 'em." He walked away from his siblings.

Maddison rolled her eyes.

The genius boy looked around.

Where is Mads? He thought.
