Two months later, it was the second day of the new school year.

The Davenports and Matthews kids had spent, all summer, together. The parents joined when they were not working.

The four women had continued their girls' night, but the boys started to feel left out, so they asked their father to do boys' night. Donald had, happily, agreed.

From now on, when the girls hang out with their moms, the boys spend time with their dad.

Chase had turned fourteen, last month, and Adam turned sixteen, the week before.

The younger brothers were in the lab. Leo was complaining about Trent, while Chase listened and worked on the cyber desk.

- "And no matter what I do, Trent always makes me look like a fool in front of Janelle." The short boy explained.

- "Well, he does get a little help from you in that area." The genius replied.

The Dooley boy, sarcastically, laughed.

- "How awesome would it be if I could beat him in that basketball tournament? That would impress her." Leo said.

Suddenly, the youngest hit the cyber desk with a smile.

- "Wait a second." He smirked.

- "Uh-oh, you just turned on that Chase I'm-smarter-than-you-and-I-have-a-big-idea light-bulb face!" The short boy grinned as his brother nodded. "It's not your best look, by the way." He said, more seriously.

If he continues, I'm not gonna help him. Chase scoffed.

- "Davenport has been working on an antigravity high-top sneaker for astronaut training." He explained as he got up. "Maybe the sneaker's will up your game with a few gravity-defying slam dunks." He showed a big pair of shoes.

- "Chase, not to play the obvious card, but there is no way my compact kickers are gonna fit into those shoe canoes." The Dooley boy replied.

- "Just put 'em on." The genius boy smiled.

Leo put the shoes on, and they shrink to fit him.

- "Whoa! Oh, yeah, baby!" He exclaimed.

The brothers chuckled when the short boy jumped high in the antigravity sneakers.

- "Say hello to Air Leo!" The Dooley boy said, loudly.

- "Now for the real test." The youngest replied.

Chase grabbed a basketball and dribbled in front of Leo, who took the ball and shot a basket.

- "Yes!" He exclaimed as he was holding on the hoop. He let go. "Did you see that? I don't need these shoes. That was all me. Watch." He took off the shoes. The genius boy threw him the basketball. The short boy jumped and tried to shoot a basket, but he fell, face first, on the floor. He grunted, while his brother laughed. "Okay, it was the shoes." Leo sighed.

The youngest brother held out his hand and helped him get up.
