In the lab, Bree was attacking a dummy while the bionic brothers were practicing attacking each other. The trio were wearing gray kimonos with the Davenport industries logo and red shirts underneath.
- "All right, guys, gather up." Donald clapped his hands to get his children's attention. He was wearing a black kimono with the Davenport industries logo. "Today, we are going to be studying one of the most time-honored traditions in Japanese culture."
- "Ooh! Nun chuck combat?" The bionic girl asked, excited.
- "Samurai sword fighting?" Chase questioned.
- "Wrestling ginormous dudes in diapers?" Adam gestured a giant diaper.
- "We will be studying the great martial art of aikido, the key principle of which is to deflect your aggressor's attack by using his own speed and strength against him." The father explained.
Oh, cool! The youngest Davenport thought.
- "Can we just get to the part where I obliterate them?" The Davenport girl asked.
The genius boy rolled his eyes. The scientist's phone rang.
- "I have to take this." The latter said. "Uh, it's about money. Which is not more important than you, but is a very close second." He walked out of the room.
- "Hey, Adam, attack me." The youngest Davenport positioned in front of his older brother.
- "Okay. Your hair is stupid, you're short, your face is weird, you're weird." The tall guy replied.
I know that. There is no need to say it. The green hazel-eyed boy sighed.
- "I meant hit me." He said.
- "Okay, good, 'cause that was going to be a really long list." The oldest got into a fighting stance.
- "Wait, wait, wait. Are you sure about this?" Bree asked. "Adam is ten times stronger than you."
- "Doesn't matter. With aikido, a weak opponent can defeat a much stronger one." Chase smiled.
- "Ah, but what if the weaker opponent fits neatly into an overhead storage bin?" Adam replied as his younger brother glared at him. "I'm talking about you."
- "Just hit me." The genius boy sighed.
The tall guy charged at his brother, who grabbed his arm and made him, easily, flipped to the ground.
- "Whoa!" The oldest groaned in pain, on the floor.
Ha! I did it! The green hazel-eyed boy fixed his kimono.
- "And that's all you need to know about aikido." He said, proudly.
- "Oh, I get it." The bionic girl grabbed Chase's arm and flipped him to the ground.
- "Bree, that's not aikido!" The genius boy complained, on the floor.
- "Oh, really? My bad." The Davenport girl, sarcastically, said.
Adam and Bree did a handshake.
- "Oh!" They, then, did a martial art salute, before walking away.
- "Chase, I need your help." Leo walked in and extended his hand to his brother, to help him get up. "The annual Mission Creek Robot Throwdown is coming up." The brothers walked to the short boy's desk.
- "Leo, for the last time. I'm not a robot. I'm a man." Chase replied. His brother glared at him. "One day, I'll be a man." He, awkwardly, continued.
I hope I will be less ugly, when I'm a grown-up. He thought.
