At midnight, it was Maddie's birthday. Leo and Chase, like the previous year, found each other in front of her room.

- "Fancy meeting you here." The older brother chuckled.

The youngest rolled his eyes, amused.

They were both about to knock when the Matthews girl opened the door.

- "You're gonna do that every year?" She smiled.

- "Yes." The brothers, simultaneously, replied. "Happy birthday!"

- "Thank you." The blue-eyed girl hugged both of them at the same time.

- "Did we wake you up?" The green hazel-eyed boy asked.

- "No." Maddie replied.

The brothers frowned and pulled away.

- "Were you crying?" The brown-eyed boy questioned.

- "No. I was just expecting you, two." The Matthews girl explained. "Last year, you came at midnight, and you found me crying, so I knew there was no way, you, guys, wouldn't come this year, too."

- "Are you okay?" Chase asked.

- "I've been better, but I don't want to cry all the tears in my body. It's already a progress." The blue-eyed girl smiled.

- "Claire would be proud." Leo smiled back.

The youngest brother nodded.

- "Thanks." Maddie said. "But if you don't mind, I'm gonna to sleep because tomorrow we have a busy day."

- "Roller coasters, here we come." The green hazel-eyed boy replied.

- "It's gonna be weird to be without the parents. Great, but weird." The Matthews girl snickered. "It's gonna be amazing to add Zack, Skylar and Janelle, this year."

- "Speaking of... Dee?" The older brother started.

- "Yeah?" The blue-eyed girl raised her eyebrows.

- "I know that Janelle dreams of being kissed on top of the Ferris wheel." The brown-eyed boy explained.

- "So, you want to do it with her." Maddie continued.

I can go in Ferris wheel with her. Chase smiled.

- "Just the first time, then, we do it together a second time to continue our tradition." Leo frowned, in worry. "Would you mind?"

- "No." The Matthews girl shook her head. "But you better kiss her." She warned.

- "I will." The older brother chuckled. "Thanks, Dee." He hugged her, quickly. "Night, guys." He walked to his room.

- "Guess, we'll have to go together." The youngest Davenport boy smiled. "Since Leo is going with Janelle, Adam with Zack and Bree probably with Skylar."

- "Yeah." The blue-eyed girl sighed to tease him. "Great."

- "Ouch." The green hazel-eyed boy frowned and put his hand on his heart as he pretended to be offended.

Maddie chuckled.

- "You are so predictable." She said. "Goodnight, Chase."

- "Goodnight, Mads." Chase kissed her cheek, before walking back to his room.

The alien girl closed her door and smiled.
