Two days later, the two older brothers were in the Lab. Adam was in a golf cart, with a dummy in the passenger seat.

- "Alright, Adam. I borrowed Big D's hydrogen-powered golf cart to help you practice for your driving test." Leo explained. "First step, seat belts."

- "Okay... focus." The tall guy grunted and attached his seatbelt. "Yes! Zero to buckle in, under five seconds." He, happily, high-fived his brother.

Chase entered the lab and chuckled.

- "Oh, look, a dummy driving a dummy." He said.

- "Ooh, what does this button do?" The oldest pressed a button and the cart started to drive.

- "No!" The short boy yelled.

- "Aah!" The genius boy screamed as he saw the cart speeding towards him.

- "Brake!" The Dooley boy shouted.

Adam hit the brakes. The dummy flew out of the car and landed on the youngest brother, making him fall to the ground. The green hazel-eyed boy grunted.

- "Wish all buttons did that." The tall guy chuckled.

The next day, the three younger siblings and their best friend were in the living room. The Dooley boy was pacing in the room, while the three others were relaxing on the couch.

Claire had another trial outside of Mission Creek. So since Saturday, Maddie was staying with the Davenports until her mother came back on Wednesday.

- "I cannot believe Adam's not back from his driving test. What's taking him so long?" Leo asked.

- "Two words: Adam. Test." Bree replied.

- "Man, if he passes, it's good news for us and bad news for everyone on the road." Chase said, before laughing. "Or the sidewalk."

The girls chuckled.

- "Poor people." The alien girl shook her head.

- "Well, he has to pass. I need him to drive me to that party on Saturday." The short boy explained.

- "What party?" The genius boy asked.

Leo laughed.

- "The one you weren't invited to." He said, seriously.

- "You got invited to Caroline Davis' party and I didn't?" Bree questioned, in disbelief.

- "Neither did I!" The green hazel-eyed boy exclaimed.

- "Well, no surprise there." The bionic girl replied.

The youngest Davenport frowned, offended. I know. I'm a nerd and I'm boring.

The Matthews girl put a hand on his shoulder.

- "You're not the only one who didn't get invited. That doesn't mean you're not cool." She whispered and smiled.

Well, Mads thinks I'm cool. That's all that matters to me. Chase smiled at her.

- "Thanks, Mads." He said.

- "But why were you invited?" The Davenport girl asked.

- "Oh, Bree, I'm climbing the social ladder. There are now three or four ladies who make eye contact with me in the hallway." The short boy explained. The three frowned at him. "Okay, it's two! But I'm going to the party."
