The next month, Donald had fixed temporally the bionic trio's bionics. But, today, the lab was finally finished, and the father was leading the five teenagers inside a tunnel.
- "I got a new lab, I got a new lab. I got a new lab." He sang, excited.
- "Whoa, whoa, whoa. I think you mean, we got a new lab." Bree replied.
- "Excuse me. Did we pay to rebuild it?" The scientist asked.
- "Do you sleep in a glass box?" The bionic girl replied.
- "We got a new lab, we got a new lab." Donald danced with his two youngest sons.
Maddie snickered. These two dance any chance they get.
- "And here it is." The father pushed a button on his tablet and the lab doors opened.
The bionic trio gasped, amazed.
- "Guys, look at all these upgrades." Chase said. "Dad, this place is amazing."
- "Of course it is. I designed it." The scientist replied.
- "Ahem." The childhood best friend, simultaneously, said.
Mads designed it with him? The genius boy raised her eyebrows. No wonder that this place is amazing.
- "Fine. WE designed it. We, we!" Donald shouted. He walked around the lab with the childhood best friends to show the bionic trio around. "Upgraded capsules, bam!" He gestured to the four capsules.
- "Why four?" The eldest sibling frowned.
- "Because Donnie insisted that I should get one to change for missions, instead of super speeding, which is a hundred times faster." The blue-eyed girl explained.
- "Shush." The father replied. "Quantum processing supercomputer, bam! Four-dimensional combat simulator, bam! This, my friends, is what a multi-million dollar makeover looks like."
- "Is there a mini fridge?" Adam asked.
- "No." The scientist scoffed.
- "I bet our real dad's lab has a mini fridge." The tall guy said.
The alien girl smacked his arm.
- "Hey, Leo, where's your work station?" The Davenport girl asked.
The short boy took the tablet from his father's hands.
- "This way, children." He smiled, smugly.
He pressed a button and the floor in front of them went down to make place to a new one with his desk.
- "Whoa!" The eldest sibling exclaimed.
- "The floor in the lab is compartmentalized, meaning we can store things in it." The middle brother explained.
- "Plus, to go in my mom's lab, it's like that. So, it's like she is with us, all the time." The blue-eyed girl added.
- "May we?" Leo asked his father, who nodded.
- "Bam!" The childhood best friends exclaimed.
The green hazel-eyed boy chuckled, before turning his head and gasping.
- "Is that a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer? Ahh!" He ran towards it, excited. "I've never seen one in person before. It's so beautiful." He bit his lips as he smiled.
- "Told you he would react like that." The Matthews girl smiled at the short boy.
Adorable. He is adorable. She thought.
